Great purchase, a must have for jerky lovers!
I love this dehydrator! It has a nice compact design, the temperature control is easy to use and accurate. The drying times are suggested, so keep an eye on your food. If you go by the instructions, it is spot on, but of course will require adjusting due to thickness and type of food being processed. It is well built, it holds a lot of items. I love that it comes with metal and plastic shelve covers. It cleans easily and works great.

Love this Dehydrator
I have been using it for a short few months so far. It does a really great job. It's easy to use. I've been using it at least 3 times a week because I love eating the dried fruit as a snack so much.

Haven't used it for most things
So far I've only used it for fruit, and it doesn't seem to like mushy or softer fruit. I did peaches and some got hard, some burnt, while some where still soft, all the other fruit dryed nicely. I also don't like the hard plastic tray covers it comes with. That being said I like how big it is and it remember the last setting it was on, it's easy to clean and easy to use.

THE BEST WAY TO HEALTHY SNACKS AND HEALTHY EATING
We are long time dehydrating people. Just look at us, we are dehydrated, no not really. We looked at a lot of machines and the price points, since we did not want to spend a lot right away due to our long hiatus from Dehydrating. The YYASHE Dehydrator had all the items we had discussed prior to looking for a machine. The Yasha fit all the points we were looking for.Size of trays, type of trays, watts of power, ease of use, and looks good in the room, timer, auto off, temperature, and dual fans.We have so far used it for Banana's, Apples, Strawberries (real tasty especially for cereal), Persimmons, and next Fruit leather and my favorite Pineapples. We have a long list to go.With the higher temperature available I am able to crisp the fruit which is great for some fruit.I should mention that the Yashee Food Dehydrator will heat as high as 165 degrees and for up to 72 hours. I cannot think of anything that would need more than that. The unit comes with several silicone sheets for fruit leather and screens for nonstick dehydrating. The photo shows the Yashe Dehydrator in action with the interior lights on and the fans working. The max temperature, and max time. This is a California JOE favorite purchase.

Love this dehydrator! It's a big upgrade from our old one.
Our first dehydrator was one of those round, black passive coil with air vent types that you could get at Kmart in the 80's! We still have one up on a shelf. Rather that dust that thing off we did some research and decided on this YASHE food dehydrator and have found it to be an excellent investment. We've made jerky and other dried meats as well as a ton of banana chips and other types of dried fruits for storage and future use. It's super easy to use, quiet, and relatively inexpensive to use, especially if you run it mostly in the daytime with solar. It has all of the features that you'll want for a home dehydrator such as timer, temperature controls, easy-cleaning racks, as well as rack liners that allow for air movement but help reduce any dripping from juices or marinades used in prepping your food. It even has a light so you can check on the progress without opening that door! We're really loving this new dehydrator and can definitely recommend it.

Product should work.
Temperature is not right many degrees off not as hot as it should be to protect food trays are very bumpy. Can’t get a level surface for liquids and the trays don’t fit right it is extremely difficult to get some of them and it takes a lot of pushing. If you’re trying to do liquids and you try to push the trays in you have a mess, but the temperature is the biggest problem. Food needs to be dehydrated at a certain temperature to keep it safe and I said it to 130 degrees and only gets to 99 degrees but not steady there were times it went down to 80 degrees. I have been dehydrating food for almost 30 years. I do know when a product works and when it doesn’t.

So far (two days in), it outclasses my trusty Excalibur. Time will tell...
This thing is slimmer, smarter, quieter and more enjoyable to use & clean than the Excalibur 9 tray I've been prizing for the last 5 years. The Yashe is SO quiet, has a light and the trays fit in the dishwasher. It's made of more durable materials, has a 72 hour timer and temperature in C and F. The trays are smaller, hence fitting in the sink & dishwasher. It feels like a definite upgrade, but cost less. So far, I'm impressed.
