I use mine to find golf balls on my local course, and it's unbelievably good. Just one tiny bit of ball visible and it shines out of the darkness like a lighthouse. I've never bought a Pro V1 in my life, but in the last 9 months they're all I've ever used!Quick to charge, lasts for hours, and comfortable to hold as it's pretty light. My only gripe is the blue light when it's on - it's just a tad too bright. Maybe useful in daylight use, but at night it's pretty distracting.Oh, and never look at your kitchen or bathroom with it, it shows up stuff even after you've cleaned with bleach spray! You will, of course, 'cause everyone does, but your view on what 'clean' is will never be the same again.

This black light torch is a good piece of equipment and functions as described. The included recharchable battery is very powerful. The option and accessory supplied to use regular batteries is useful but not as powerful as the supplied recharchable battery but still functions well. In dark conditions with the supplied recharchable battery, the light works effortlessly at distances of 4 and five meters away. The casing is of a robust aluminium material and looks and feels well. It fits well in hand to use. The supplied plastic carrycase is an added bonus to have.

Only 4 stars for nowI’ve had a little go with the torch in daylight on my minerals and it works well.I have a few smaller 365nm uv torches and so far in daylight this is supperior.I read the reviews before purchasing and see people mentioning in doesn’t show pet urine or won’t charge or it’s a blue light.It states in the booklet you need a low voltage chargerAlso for pet urine try a 395nm uv torch.And the filter is cutting out unwanted light to show the fluorescents properly.The big test will come tonight when I take it down the beach to give it a proper test.Otherwise it Seems to be built well and it’s not to big, it’s only slightly bigger than my alonefireIt also comes with a nice little protective case and battery adaptors.Update 01/09/2025After several uses over the last few days I have noticed the on off button is temperamental, for that reason alone I will leave my review at 4 starsBut has for its working capability I would recommend this uv torch.It lit up the minerals a lot clearer and the colours were more vivid than my alonefire uv torch
