An enjoyable sci-fi adventure that's unique enough to stand alone even 30 years later
I hadn't seen this for a long time, but wanted to watch it since I remember it from when I was a kid. Produced by Spielberg, Frank Marshall and Kathleen Kennedy, this Joe Dante directed adventure has little of the irreverent fun that made Gremlins such an instant classic but makes up for it with some well realised scenes inside the human body. Dennis Quaid is Dennis Quaid, and cheekily romps his way through the story assisted by Meg Ryan and Martin Short. Not exactly a dream team, but in the 80's it was a passable ensemble. The start and end of the movie are the real highlights here but even an appearance from the holographic doctor from Star Trek Voyager isn't quite enough to keep it on rack through the middle sections but it's enjoyable enough.

Witty sci fi of Tuc's inner self
Good ol Tuc, The man of the hour, The hero, Master of all ...Wait! Nope, Tuc being a raging alcoholic embarks on a journey of inner discovery, Literally! This fly back to the 1980's is full of adventure, Evil villains, And the most unusual plot that challenges the usual sci fi twists. Expect Witty humor, The 1980's in your face, And a journey through Tuc's mind, heart, And lungs! Tuc's world just got smaller...

Give it a go
Really good film. Funny film and may be a glimpse off the future obviously without a human pilot but operations could be performed in this way. Would recommend watching, as a fun afternoon spent

Great action set pieces
This, Joe Dante film has so much going for it. The cast are all so enjoyable to watch esp the physical comedy and sweetness of Martin Short. Great action set pieces, well-timed comedy, a fun story well told. What a shame it didn't do so well at the box office at the time, we may have had another adventure with these 3 Amigos. Maybe?

Dated
Not bad but dated, overly adult at times, and slow.
