Priceless
Cult Triple Bill Featuring The one and only Vincent Price The Two movies featuring The ever popular Price as Dr Goldfoot I could use The old expression They are so bad That They are Good Though it really Does apply here. It's The old mad scientist world Domination Theme as Dr Goldfoot plans to take over The world using His army of female robots cue plenty of Bikini clad babes playing The robots forget The plot just go with The flow and you have a Cult classic . The first movie The Bikini machine is really The better of The Two Goldfoot movies The Blu ray Transfers are Good but it is Difficult to really do any comparisons as both of The Goldfoot movies have been out of circulation for some Time with The exception of The odd DVD Region 1 release. Both movies feature no scene selection or extra's just The play button The real find on This collection is The bonus feature Master Of The World based on The Jules Verne classic novel This one as Vincent Price Taking to The skies in His futuristic flying machine again bent on world Domination it's 20,000 leagues in The sky look out for Charles Bronson as Price's right hand man unlike The other Two Disc's for some reason Master Of The World Does feature scene selection and out of The Three movies boast's The better Blu ray Transfer. I have to be Honest here I only got This collection for Master Of The World I had only ever seen it on VHS format Though both Dr Goldfoot movies are Good fun. Little bit of Goldfoot Trivia playing one of The Bikini clad robots is Deanna Lund shortly she would be cast in Irwin Allen's Then new series Land Of The Giants all in all a Good collection and Vincent Price in Three movies Five stars all round.

Camp and hilarious
You get both Dr Goldfoot movies on blu ray and Master of the World on dvd. If Master of the World had been on bluray I would have given this five stars. No extras on any of the discs.

A triple bill of Vincent Price attempting to get very rich by using charms of his fembots on the wealthy.
So this 101 FILMS set arrived the day after my order of single disc of "Bikini Machine".Again a no frills release and comes with the unconnected 3rd disc (save for being an earlier Arkoff/Nicholson production with a Les Baxter score). Going back to "The Girl Bombs" I have a copy of Bava's original cut (but not speaking Italian it is wasted on me) must dig it out to compare with U.S.cut and its inevitable new score by Les Baxter, which in this case fits o.k. Mr.Price is given leeway to ham it up,speaking directly to the camera/audience about his evil plans. The 2 Italian comics grate as much as Frankie Avalon did in the first but overall I enjoyed these in a 1960's politically incorrect way.P.S.fans of Charles Bronson may appreciate the 3rd film.

My gosh now I wish I had not bought this as these two films are terrible. The first one is a lot better
Why only 3 stars ? Well it is 1 star for each film. I have never seen the Dr, Goldfoot films before but I have heard about them. My gosh now I wish I had not bought this as these two films are terrible. The first one is a lot better. The second one has two Italian so-called comedians who are really unfunny and a great embarrassment to this production. There are no extras on these two Blu-Rays and no chapters so the films just play through. The third fim 'Master Of The World' is only on DVD. This is a great film but the picture quality leaves a lot to be desired. I suspect that this is an NTSC to PAL conversion (something I thought had died since VHS had bit the dust), this is why I have give it only 1 star.

Mixed but interesting.
The Goldfoot films do not represent Price's finest cinematic hour. Yet taken lightly, they are watchable. The BIKINI MACHINE directed by veteran Norman Taurog, contains a fine take-off of the PIT AND THE PENDULUM sequence with Frankie Avalon in the position of bland John Kerr using Daniel Haller's set from the Corman film. THE GIRL BOMBS, directed by Mario Bava, is supposedly the worst of the two. But, apart from banal Fabian in the role played by banal Frankie Avalon in the first film, it has moments of surrealistic fun especially in the failed debut of Sicilian comedians Franco and Ciccio who are an acquired taste. The best is the bonus DVD, the non-comedy MASTER OF THE WORLD, starring Price and directed by William Witney.

Not Even At This Price
Even with the wonderful Vincent Price these are hard going. The first by far the better of the two. With the second I found impossible to finish watching. Even Fabian who kept his fifties haircut until long after the Beatles invasion. Looking awful in some Italians idea of a Mersey mop top cut.
