My husband and I bought these for our kids, they love them and it’s very pretty when our together but the assembly was a pain for both of them. The lock pieces are plastic so we really didn’t like that but the kids love them

For the price it really is pretty sturdy, and seven though it took a bit of time to put it together, the instructions were clear. Perfect addition to our playroom.

The directions are flat-out wrong in several places. Thankfully, I figured out all but one of the issues before trying the steps. Otherwise, simple to put together in less than an hour for one person (with a bad back, even).Here’s my other assembly complaint: there are double-sided insert nuts made of PLASTIC. It’s an ingenious way to put a nut on both sides in the same location. BUT, it’s plastic. It doesn’t hold well. Also, it’s not anchored well, so one popped through and became a HUGE issue for securing that side. In the end, if not for the wood screws on the base, I don’t believe the right side of my unit would hold together at all. It was SO damaged by the plastic nuts.All that being said, it’s put together now and seems stable. And, we love it. I can’t wait for my kids to wake up from their naps and try it out! Woohoo!

There are many similar bookcase selling on amazon. Their design and look are pretty much the same. But the prices vary a lot. After reading the reviews from different sellers, I found this is no much difference among them. The chance of getting a defective one is not related to the price. So I decide to take the risk of choosing the least expensive one. It turned out to be a good buy for me. Easy to assemble, no defective parts. It is capable of holding a lot of books. Definitely worth the money!

This is definitely a standard, Chinese, pressed-board piece of furniture. You are getting what you paid for.Pros: Decent weight, easy to assemble, representative of the product pictures.Cons: Several of the screws for top and bottom use the same hole so if you screw the cam bolts in too far, you’re screwed when you get to the last step. The box came almost destroyed so I was shocked the pieces weren’t damaged. The longevity of this piece is in question as some of the paint was already flecking offnduring assembly. The cushions are pretty terrible quality. All of the cams are visible, caps would’ve been nice with these.Overall, for what it cost, it wasnt a terrible buy. I doubt our son will use it for more than a year or two so I don’t regret purchasing it.

The media could not be loaded. How cozy is this reading nook? 😍 it’s the perfect size to fit right under a window. It holds so many books and we enjoy reading on it everyday.

I read prior reviews and was a little shy of buying this. Our experience was much different. Great instructions, pieces were all marked clearly and identified. It turned out really cute. My daughter loved it.

How cute is this shelf, right? I love the look, and how it creates a reading space for my two small children.It took me several hours to put together. Pieces were broken, the hardware was cheap and would break while trying to put together, pieces didn’t even fit together.We had to get our own tools and our own hardware to try and rig the furniture together so that it was safe for our family.I contacted the company, I sent pictures, I asked for replacement pieces - not a new nook. They told me no, I’d have to disassemble the furniture that was rigged together in several places, and send it back?! I threw away all the packaging, and I’m not taking the time to disassemble the furniture.I will never buy from this company again, I had ordered a separate piece of furniture, they emailed and told me I had to cancel, I said no, I’d wait for it to come back in stock, they went ahead and cancelled my order anyway. Furniture that I need, they took it upon themselves to not consider my request.While this piece of furniture is in use, and I am happy with how it looks, I know it won’t last, I know that because the pieces aren’t put together properly that it will break, the paint will chip off even further.Not happy at all, and just because I refuse to take apart a piece of furniture, pack it back up strategically who knows how to send back in packaging I no longer have all while working around two toddlers, the company can not fix my issue.
