Breliter Inflatable Waterproof Repair Tape
We camp often and one of the way we camp is in our truck bed tent. When we use the truck bed we also use an inflatable mattress. We also have an inflatable boat that we can take along any time that we are near a water source. There are inflatable items that we can use in the hot tub too. These and many more inflatable items are sure to have at least one that will become punctured at some time. This roll of patch tape is going to be doing the job of extending the life of some of these things. The tape comes on a roll like any tape would. It has a slick paper backing on the sticky side of the tape so that it will be easier to unroll and apply. Just unroll what you need and cut it off of the roll. Cut to shape. (I'd recommend that you round the edges so that it will not pull loose.) Peel off the backing and apply to a well cleaned surface. It is 6'+ long and 4" wide and is clear. While we do not have anything leaking at the moment, we will be prepared when the time pops up, or down, as the case may be. I did, however, cut off a piece and played with it to see how it felt. It is very sticky and stretchy so that it will flex with the inflatable that it has been applied to. I placed the cut piece on one of the inflatables to see how well it stuck. So far it is staying right where it has been placed. I will leave it on and return with the results if there are any issues. This is one of those things that you purchase and hope to never have to use and that is how we fell about this one. But if we do ever have the need, we will be ready.

Useful for patching urethane film items. Note however that...
...this material is likely to be incompatible with many flexible-vinyl products, including inflatable toys and pool floats. 99% of people don't have the polymer-engineering experience to be able to recognize the difference between flexible urethane and flexible vinyl.Non-vinyl-compatible adhesives used on flexible vinyl tend to become soft and gooey, and too weak to hold things in place. If you have an application for a product like this, you may want to check the product-literature description of the item you want to repair, to see what material it's made from. Or, you could contact whoever made that product-to-be-repaired and ask about its materials.

Broad tape.
The label on the tape says "works under water," that it has strong adhesion, and that it is self adhesive. Beware however, that "works under water" doesn't mean that it can be applied under water (which some products are capable of).One must have realistic expectations. I have had many queen sized air mattresses that have leaked, but it is always practically impossible to find any such leak. Only once have I succeeding in finding a leak, and on that occasion there were several, and I didn't find them all. I was able to seal some of the leaks by applying shoe goo to marked leaks while the mattress was deflated.Soapy sponges rarely work to reveal leaks. Maybe if one had a big swimming pool and a helper or three it would be easier. I've tried and failed to find a slow air mattress leak by submerging the mattress in a creek. Working alone, pushing parts of the mattress underwater bit by bit, didn't reveal it; the simple act of constantly pushing parts under water carries bubbles with it, and it's hard to keep the mattress turgid without lying on it, which makes it nearly impossible to check it all.I also have six inflatable kayaks and SUPs. Currently one of them has a massive leak along a seam, but this tape explicitly will not work on "folds" or "edges." Apparently it can only be applied to smooth uninterrupted surfaces. So, despite currently having both a leaking air mattress and a leaking inflatable kayak, I am unable to actually test this on anything. In most usages, polyurethane seems superior to other plastics, such as polyethylene or polypropylene, and the "TPU" designation of this product is apparently an abbreviation of "thermoplastic polyurethane."I'm quite sure this would work fine on a smooth area of a hard shelled kayak, and I'm reasonably confident that it would work for a while on a smooth part of an inflatable kayak or air mattress, if one could actually find the leak.I like that the tape is 6" wide. I wouldn't attempt to use it to repair a massive leak, but the great width would allow one to broadly overlap any small leak. Hopefully, this "flexible" tape with "excellent ductility" has enough stretchiness to allow that.

Good to have on hand
I am going to be honest. I don’t have any use for this repair kit. I just got a new air mattress and I read the reviews on this actual brand, and I am impressed. I love having the peace of mind knowing that, if I do in the future need to repair a hole, I have this. I did take a piece of it to see how well it sticks. And I have to say, it’s pretty sticky. And easy to use. Plus, you can cut the patch to the size that you need. There is a lot on this roll, so it’s a great value. You can only apply this to a flat surface but my air mattress is basically flat. When, and I’m hoping it’s not too soon, that I do have to use this repair kit, I will take pictures and update you as to how long this holds. Again, I got this as a backup in case I need it.

Works well but not sure on the longevity depending on the use
This is a good option to keep an inflatable alive a bit longer or repairing a leak / hole on other outdoor equipment. The tape is fairly thin but has a bit of a rubberized feeling to it. I have an inflatable boat that has a metal floor that rolls out. The rubber under the floor has gotten a few small holes in in over the years and I have placed this tape on it. It seems to be holding fairly well so far but I have concerns on how long it will continue to hold as the boat gets rolled up and and put away bending the tape in different ways. It also has that feel that it will yellow after a year or so of use. I hope I am wrong on these feelings but it is getting the job done for now. It is a fair price to at least give it a try for whatever application your may have in mind.
