Can’t go wrong with!
Dependable and functional. I bought this 2 times now and will likely be buying more as need arises. Using to connect solar panels on roof to batteries/ inverter at ground level. Wish I could buy this in red or black as opposed to white.

Good quality wire
I needed some wire to wire up speakers to my golf cart. Since this is an outdoor application I wanted tinned wire. This stuff fit the bill. 6awg is probably overkill for this application but this was the only wire available on Vine at the time. It works great, my speakers sound fine and I haven’t had any corrosion issues. Luckily my run (since it’s a golf cart) is quite short. I have some leftover so I am going to try and make some wires for my desktop audio setup.

This wire is junk
This wire is junk. It was supposed to be tinned marine cable. It is not tinned and is stiff. Should not be used on boats.

Nicely made wire that has good quality, tinned copper with a thick coating for protection.
The 6 Gauge Marine Wire by GearIT, is a quality wire that’s heavy duty coated to protect and ready for install. It looks to be as described with all copper wires and is made of good quality materials that lead me to believe it should serve me very well for my intended purpose and last a long time. It comes with heavy insolation around the wire, making it a great marine, RV, outdoor or industrial wire for many things. It comes packed with 861 strands that are tinned oxygen-free copper, making it extra corrosion resistant. So far it’s worked without any issues, but I’ll be sure to update this review, if I ever start to have problems with it. If you’d find it helpful to see an up-close visual inspection of this product, I recommend you watch my included video in full screen or landscape. They say a picture is worth a 1000 words, well it’s a video! You can trust that this review is simply my honest opinion that is attempting to provide you with helpful insight that I wish I had before I picked this product. Hopefully it was helpful in your decision.

Impressive wire
There is always a tradeoff between solid wire and stranded. Solid wire can carry more current than stranded wire. Stranded wire can bend around tight places where solid wire can be very difficult to fish through tight corners- especially on boats. This particular Marine-grade wire is suited for it where solid wire would be difficult if not i.possible to install. I'm actually impressed with the 50 foot 6AWG wire I received. It was so heavy it took me by surprise. It's definately copper core, tinned on the outside for easy soldering or connecting without the fear of oxidation. The copper core is OFC, so that's a bonus. Casing is tough- as also described by other reviewers. It boasts the usual marine necessities such as salt, water, oil, and gasoline resistant. Even so, I would suggest using glue-filled shrink tubing at all terminations just to be safe. You definately get what you pay for, and this wire fits the bill. Recommended for marine and general power transfer.

GearIT 6 Gauge Marine Wire (50ft) 6 AWG Primary Wire Cable, Tinned Oxygen-Free Copper
It looks to be a well made marine grade tinned copper cable with UL certification E360310. The only confusion I have is the temperature rating, ' -40c ~ 105c (dry), 75c (wet)' is printed on the cable but the little piece of paper attached to the roll of wire shows 'RATED TEMP 60c' so I'm not sure what is the real rating is, since TEMP rating affects the Ampacity of the wire so it should have clear rating present. Maybe it is the printed error on that piece of paper. I plan to use this inside my DIY Battery pack so it should be OK for my application.

Marine Grade 6AWG Wire Cable Is 50 Feet Long
This is a reel of 50 feet of wire cable. The wire is marine grade for your boating electrical needs. The wire coductor is 6 AWG of fiinely stranded tinned oxygen-free OFC copper. The high quality cale has a durable white and flexible PVC insulation jacket. The insulation is also UV and corrosion resistant for indoor and outdoor use. Can be used in wet salt water conditions from -40 F up to 221 F. The cable is UL certified to a CL3 rating. The cable can be used up to 300V. I used my cable to add a few new 12V power circuits to my boat and had no problems. Would recommend this to anyone.

Nice bit of cable. Tinned!
I love tinned copper cable, but it usually comes at a heavy premium. This spool certainly has a bit of a premium compared to hardware store 6 gauge, but it's cheaper than comparable fine-strand, tinned cables I've found. The diameter seems to be just a hair outside of 6ga measurement, so I'd argue its closer to 6.3ga, but in the grand scheme of things, that's generally inconsequential. The spool is cardboard and plastic, but works well enough. From what I can see on the writing on the cable, you're getting the advertised 50ft or so as well. So in the grand scheme of things, this is a nice, flexible, pre-tinned cable for less than what other fine strand tinned cables are. The tinning also makes it a breeze to solder which is fantastic when you need that feature.
