Brightening effect is obvious

This brightening serum does have a wonderful effect of reducing dullness and giving a nice glowy radiance. It doesn’t feel heavy or look unnaturally dewy. It smells great. Only a few small drops provides enough coverage for my face. It feels like a quality product. After a few weeks it definitely brightened my skin and made my skin tone and texture more consistent. I have a lot of sun spots, and they appear to have slightly reduced but not gone completely. I just wish it would be priced better, as the price is a deterrent to using this on a regular basis.

I'm going to completely ignore the price of this serum for my review, because I don't really know how to deal with something so far out of my price range I'd never dream of buying it with my own money. Make your own call. Anyway. This stuff is fantastic. I test a lot of skincare products for Amazon, so I'm no stranger to high end serums, but I've been using this one for about two weeks and I've already noticed a clear improvement in the condition of my skin. I have fairly uneven skin tone, tending toward redness in my nose and cheeks even when I have a tan, but after two weeks of daily use my skin tone looks markedly more even. Even in the local dry winter climate my skin feels softer and smoother than usual, and I just look generally healthier. This is the only new product I'm using regularly right now, so I'm attributing the change to this serum. I rarely notice such a dramatic difference when testing new skincare products, so I'll be happy to give this five stars. Now according to the product details the correct amount to use is a full dropper from the pipette attached to the bottle lid. That seems like a lot to me. I just place a drop on my forehead and one on each cheek, and it seems to be enough to get full coverage of my face. Your mileage may vary, but at this price (sorry, I promised I wouldn't mention that) I'm inclined to ration it so I can stretch the bottle as long as possible. You do you.

On par with La Mer and La Prairie, Japanese beauty brand SK-II is for serious skin care enthusiasts who don't mind shelling out big bucks for wonder creams. Holy heck! This serum is more than my monthly car payment! But gosh darn it, if it isn't the cream of dreams! First off, the bottle looks like it was made from fairy dust compressed into the teardrop of a unicorn. It's a work of art by itself! It changes colors in the light... I could stare at it all day. The dropper has a pump at the top that seamlessly draws in just the right amount of product to be dispensed. It smells divine, like a spa in Gstaad. The serum effortlessly sinks into the skin, and I notice the instant radiance in my complexion. My aura is indeed glowing! Now as for the long-term effects, it will take time to see but I notice a difference under my makeup. Since this costs a few dollars per application, I am going to savor this essence from the heavens and use it in the morning when I want my glow to be on display for all the world to see. Skin feels soft. Gives me a nice glow without looking like a glazed donut. It's a good serum, but I wouldn't order it again simply because of the price.

SK-II has been around for decades, and produces many quality products, so when I came across this product I decided to give it a try as well. Very quickly, I started seeing improvement! This product also feels the most luxurious on my skin. It's lightweight and airy, yet keeps my skin moisturized all day - while still providing the sought after benefit of my dark spots fading. Now, at $265, this is likely outside of many people's budget, but it's significantly cheaper than professional treatments while being able to provide results. If dark spots are an issue for you and you're not having luck with other products, give this a try.
