Worth the higher price.
Suggested by our vet for my over weight furry goof ball. She loves it. Hopefully we can get her weight down and maintain a leaner goof ball. If it doesn't work, I will update my review.

Purina catfood
One of my cats is extremely overweight and my vet recommended this catfood so I tried it.Happy to say that following direction she has lost weight! The flavor must be good because all 5 love it! I thought it was alittle expensive but all in all well worth it.

They love it!
Our cat was prescribed medication and this weight-control food after developing diabetes. As we have three other cats, we thought it might be difficult to keep him from eating their food. Luckily, they all LOVE this food! We used to have to give one of our cats a prescription kidney diet and he hated it, so this was such a pleasant surprise. Yes, it's expensive to feed it to four cats when only one technically needs it, but the convenience is well worth the price and one of our older, overweight cats has also started to lose weight, which is a win-win.

Vet approve and works
Vet-approved for our cats. One of the cats has stopped wetting outside the box. I don't know about losing weight yet. I have not eaten the cat food to comment on the flavor—stupid question.

This is a high protein dry cat food. My cat loves it and it has helped her lose weight. It was recommended by my veterinarian.
