A beautiful little book for children . Beautifully illustrated . Based on fact . I saw this little bird when I was in Australia and my sister in law showed me its courting place decked out in blue fragments as is their habit .

Of course Julia Donaldson doesn't let you down! As expected great book enjoyed by both 3yr old and 7 year olds in our house

Again bought for my grandchildren. Been buying these books since they were about 2 years old, they are great to read as they rhyme making them more interesting for the children.

We love the Go Away bird and love all Julia Donaldson’s stories so was excited to read this with my two children. I loved the illustrations and the story was charming and had a nice message. I love how Julia has been inspired by wildlife programmes to create such a story. My children enjoyed it and would be a lovely story for reception and KS1.

Excellent book, daughter loves it. Another fabulous read from Julia Donaldson.
