Sensory input
My son's teachers were getting annoyed with him chewing on his pencils and pens, instead of having a control battle with them (not sure why they care) I just bought him these and wrote it into his 504 plan to allow them. As a teacher myself, I think they are a fantastic tool for anyone that happens to have an oral fixation! I recommend these to any parent of a neurodivergent child.

My kids love them
My 8 yr and 4 yr needed something to chew beside their shirts and pencils and this is a great and strong replacement

For those showing signs of anxiety or being anxious
There are many kids who have a hard time just sitting still and it can stem from some more serious mental disabilities down to just some kids are a little more fidgety but experience to other concerns and no trauma or just starting the habit out of the blue. From either end of the spectrum of why a child could use these they seem to work well in most all situations. There not complex but easily able to be soothed and calmed and able to be where that little bit of extra energy is going to . So many kids can sit longer and do thier work by just having one of these they can chew on or one in a hand they squeeze on or rub a finger over to help them from not acting out or getting bored from not enough stimulation. The way they help calm anxiety by shifting focus is a game changer and nice to have a way to help someone in a difficult time express there feeling and know how to act.

Chew Necklaces - all easily torn, in one use.
Super disappointed in these. One was ripped in half before even getting it on the pencil. The others broke after chewing threw them quickly. Cheap, but for a reason. :-/

I thought these were going to be soft and squishy...
I got these for myself to keep myself from skin picking but I'm a little sad because I though they were going to be soft and squishy but they're actually quite hard. They are very durable and easy to clean though. I probably won't be using them much but who knows. They're good to have anyway.
