Works great, simple tool, not much to it.
Does exactly what you'd think it would do. Stuff the spikey end down your drain, and up comes hair that probably blocked it.PRO:-inexpensive.-reusable.-multi-pack so you can keep one by any given sink.-much safer to use a mechanical means to clear a drain, than to use chemical means.-no bad smells (unlike using acids or bases down the drain to eat up a clog)CON:-teeth can break off, as they are fairly brittle, but that's why you have several.-length could be longer, to get through a whole trap, but, if you have a serious problem you should call a plumber.

Too brittle, snapped easily
Although this did pull some hair from the drain, the plastic is FAR too brittle - it snapped in half within minutes, and took me half an hour to dig the broken piece back up out of my pipes with other tools!

BUYER BEWARE - cheap, to stiff and broke in drain!!
I’ve bought these before, but from a different company. I would NOT buy them from this company. First time ever in a decade I’ve had one completely snap off and now it’s stuck down our bath tub drain. These are suppose to be durable, flexible and strong.I should have paid attention when it felt to stiff, got it down the pipe and one twist and SNAP, now it’s stuck down there and we will probably have to pay a plumber to come get the thing out.Normally these are great - just not from these people.

5-star chemical-free solution
This is one of the best, and cheapest, gadgets out there. My bathroom sink was slow to drain and I knew the culprit was likely a gnarly glob of hair. Super easy to use-just lower the grabber thing into the drain and the upward-facing spikes grab the hair and you pull it back up. I will tell you this-it's gross, and if it was anyone else's hair but mine, I probably would have thrown up. My hair is shoulder-length and fine, and I never style my hair directly over the sink. I pulled out a giant hair blob and quite honestly, I'm shocked that I have any hair on my head because alot of it was going down the drain! :-OInvestment of my time-five minutes, tops-maybe longer because I was fascinated by the results (and grossed out). After that minimal investment of time my sink was draining with no issues at all. Well worth the price-I think I paid <$10 for the three-pack, though one is all you'll ever need unless you have a bunch of bathrooms and long-haired kids. ;-)

Unclogs the hairy drain every time
They work just as described and are great to keep around the house. I don't recommend cleaning them, just toss it (but then again I am the person who wouldn't cloth diaper because to me the very definition of disposable is something you sh!t in). So yah, not gonna clean that nasty thing. It goes around the bend of the drain easily to unclog. We always keep at least one on hand and reorder when we use it.Super easy to use, just stick it down the drain, I usually kind of twist it, and then slowly pull it out covered in all kinds of drain nastiness.

Don't twist it
First of all I appreciate how inexpensive it is, and how thin it was. I could skip it into the sink drains and the bathtub drains without an issue, and I was able to remove a lot of hair. I also really, really appreciate that it came as a pack of three, because I needed to use all three to get the job done.I have used a different clog removing device before, and this product is definitely inferior in comparison. There are only two rows of plastic spikes, and it ended up "combing" the hair clumps. So, to make the hair get tangled into the hooks, I had to twist the thing. My second piece broke off in the pipe (the first piece lost all of its lower hooks) because of this. when I couldn't hook the hair onto the hooks, and I had to use my fingers to manually tear the clog out (which clog wasn't visible before using the snake).Overall, I am happy for clear (except for a stick 8-inch piece of plastic) drains, and it is better to use this than chemicals, but I will keep looking for that sink snake I as used before.

2 BROKE AND ARE STUCK IN MY TUB DRAIN
I've had great success with these orange unclogger things that I got at a big box store. Worked great. They're one time use b/c the teeth break off while you're extracting. But these, I stuck one in the tub drain that wasn't draining great, pulled it out, and it snapped. I was like, well now that thing's in there I better get some hair out. So dumb me, I thought it was a one off...so I stuck another one down there to hopefully clear some hair. Pulled more gently this time. SNAP! Broke again. Now I have 2 long orange things in my drain plus the hair. Fun!

Too big
I used this for my bathroom sink drain. They are pretty big snakes for the size of a regular drain so it kept getting stuck. I think I was able to get most of the hair and gunk that was stuck towards the top (first few inches of the drain), but when I was able to get the snake all the way down, it got stuck. I tried it multiple different ways and it kept getting stuck. The little teeth come off when you try to pull it out too, so who knows if that’s creating another clog for sometime in the future. It’s a cheap and quick fix, but was too big and not durable enough for my drain.
