Seems to be exactly what it was made for, but haven't needed a use for it yet. Safety item for camping, etc.

I bought and ordered 5 pack of these and only 3 came. Even the sticker said 5 but only got 3. Not happy about it. And I have never given a bad review on here this is my 1st ever. Not happy

These came in handy when I needed for my windows.The color is decent noise level is decent. Warmth is decent. The thickness is decent. The quality is decent. The value is fair.

If the Red Cross licensed these then maybe that translates into some benefit to consumers and I'd normally readily endorse. I'm a first responder and have found that usually the Red Cross distributes good stuff. these don't seem to be any thicker or of different quality than other cheap mylar blankets. they seem to be adequate size, though I prefer these a little wider when opened.Some of the top sellers in this category include more blankets (that are also larger) at a better price.All that said, the price difference is minimal and this is a handy 5 pack. Throw one or two in your car, no reason not to have some for an emergency.

I ordered the American Red Cross Officially Licensed Emergency Reflective Blankets, 5 Pack, Body Warmer Survival Blanket, 52” W x 84” L.In the past, I have had one of my emergency Reflective blankets used by one of the people that I was hiking within since was unprepared for a 30-40° temperature drop that swept in. She was reluctant to take the offer, at first, but soon gave in and was very appreciative. Fortunately, I've never had to use one, myself, but like to have them and foot/hand warmer pouches on hand.These are 52"W x 84"L. I am 74" tall, so these are mor than adequate for my height. The 54" width is just 2" greater than my diameters at my shoulders. A greater width would be nicer because if i was wearing a coat, i could not do a full wrap. But, if you are sitting down in your car seat using one of these, your back side is up against the seat snd there is plenty of width to tuck in on each side of you (i.e., does not need to completely wrap you).I opened one just to feel the material and these blankets feel as they should. I may unwrap one all the way for a test if I think I can easily get it folded back to original dimensions.Overall, 5 stars from me.

These were purchased for our emergency bag after severe weather rolled through our neighborhood. Thankfully we haven't had to use them but I feel better knowing they are available to us. I also liked that a 5 pack meant we could stash one in a vehicle. I trust the red cross name and feel confident that blankets will serve us when needed.
