Traditional Flavour, True Boerewors spice
I highly recommend this, true traditional flavours for a homesick child. Sprinkle on British sausage for some South African flavour or make worse as instructed. Amazing.

Tastes great - careful of the salt level
used this to make vegan boerewors with vital wheat gluten. tasted and smelled amazing but was very salty - make sure you adjust your recipe as this is something like 25% salt. otherwise lovely stuff - add some freshly crushed coriander seed for the authentic flavour

Makes Superb Boerewors
In S. Africa, some boerewors was superb, some was poor, depending on the recipe of different butchers. I also have my own recipe, but the boerewors that I have made using this spice mix is as good as any that I had in S.A., confirmed by family and S. African friends in the UK. It is a bit peppery, but lovely. I have made a couple of changes to the recipe for my own preferences, by reducing the amount of the strong spice mix, adding salt, adding roasted and crushed coriander, adding some rusk and using white vinegar instead of balsamic (the Voortrekkers didn't use balsamic ! ). Superb result.

Balance of spice is not quite right!
Although it is easy to use and smells great before, and after cooking, the balance of spice is incorrect. We found it overpowering with pimento, which left a hotter aftertaste than is normal for Boerwors. We are disappointed in the flavour, but the process of making the Wors was good. We will not reorder.

Delicious
Usually make my own but thought to try this. Very tasty and easy to use. I left it 24 hours to marinade in refrigerator before putting in skins. Would recommend.

Makes good wors
Makes good wors, just follow the instructions on the package.I have been using it with a cheap plastic sausage stuffer and 30mm collagen skins. It makes wors as good as you can get in the U.K. and if you use good quality meat as good as you can get in South Africa.I am impressed at how good the results I can get are with relatively little outlay and it isn’t that hard to do either.

Tasteless and wrong balance of spice
Firstly the spices used were not printed on the packet Just spices and salt. The salt was way way too heavy and the spices insipid what a waste of money make your own mix at home
