I hate heavy feeling foundation. And I don't want my foundation to rub off on my collars or on other people when I hug them. I also like to be able to touch my face and not worry about messing up my makeup. I have been using CG Smoothers for years and love it. It feels like a lotion. I don't see anything heavy on my face and there is nothing that can be accidentally wiped off. This is thinner coverage so if you are trying to really cover up flaws then this might not be for you. I decided to go with a more natural look and embrace my flaws. After I apply the CG Smoothers I then use some loose powder over the top. When spending time outdoors I have found that it works well for sunblock. (I do put on a higher SPF sunblock protection when I know I will be outdoors all day, but I have accidentally spent all day outdoors with just the CG Smoothers on my face and it did surpisingly well, my face did not burn. Note: I do not easliy burn anyway so fairer skinned people will have a different outcome than me.)

I'm not big into makeup. I prefer minimal when I wear any at all. And being over 50, most foundation looks exactly like that. Foundation. If you are looking for a bit of color correction, with a nice dose of moisture, this is the stuff. It disappears on the face, while just correcting any little bit of uneven tone, and looks as if I'm not wearing anything. Like me, only subtley better.I use medium light in the winter and medium dark in the summer and the color match is excellent.The price is great for this product. I've been using it for years, and will continue to do so.

Like you, I was searching for a less heavy foundation to wear every day–you know, something that still has minimal to light coverage but doesn't look too 'heavy baked.'Amazon of course recommend me to two products: (1) CG Smoothers and (2) CG Clean Matte BB Creams. So I bought both and compared, so you don't have to...Please note, I'm a 30 year old mom still suffering will occasional breakouts and uneven skintone. Nothing new, just life...I normally wear the following;- Revlon Colorstay foundation in 150, Buff,- Revlon Colorstay Powder in 830, light/medium- Maybelline FitMe Powder in 110, Porcelain1) CG Smoothers- 805 Fair to LightThe consistency of this product is really smooth and light, more moisturising than tinting. Very light coverage, a little goes a long way, but also doesn't feel heavy on your face. I love that the color is true and doesnt oxydize. You definitely however need a setting powder to refresh every now and again. (4.5/5 stars)2)CG Clean Matte BB Creams.It's a very dense BB cream, it's similar consistency to sunscreen, heavy. It also has a very heavy sunscreen odor to it too. However it's medium coverage and very matte—keeping your face shine free all day.It's not very blendable, and you need a lot of product. I don't like makeup and I rarely ever wear it. But now that I'm in my mid-40s, I'm realizing I need to do better with skincare, so I was looking for a moisturizer with SPF and came across several of the tinted BB creams. After reviewing several, I decided to give this one a try as the pictures of people using the "Light to Medium" seemed to have a similar skin tone as I do.The "Light to Medium" shade perfectly matches my skin. No one can tell that I have this on, unlike with other makeup. My partner and friends had no idea until I told them and they said they couldn't tell.I am really happy with it so far! I've been using it for two days and I can feel how soft my skin is. The coverage is very light, so it's not going to do major color correction, but it does seem like it gives my skin a nice glow and covers up some lighter marks on my face (not freckles, moles or darker spots). Once it dries, I can touch my face and not feel like a bunch of makeup is coming off on my fingers, which is one of the things I dislike about wearing a non-powder foundation.Yesterday, I put the moisturizer on twice as I was going to be out in the sun for a couple of hours and didn't want to get sun burned. I was contemplating putting a different evening cream after my shower, but my skin was still so soft from using the CoverGirl moisturizer twice that I didn't even bother with the night cream.I do have an oily T-Zone, so if I notice any major breakouts or anything weird, I'll come back and update this review, but so far, I really love this product and will buy more of it. :)

Great daily moisturizer as it gives me a little color and evens out skin tones..lightweight and I have used it for years.

I like the product & ordered several times. This last time the item came half full. I was very surprised & disappointed!

I personally loved it. The texture is so flexible and easy to apply, it doesn't leave patches or traces of it. Its like a real moisturizer with a hint of tint. It does not offer a heavy coverage, its not a foundation ok. But it does leave a beautiful dewy finish with a light coverage perfect for me as I'm a stay at home mom. I don't like heavy wearing foundations at home, I like just a little bit of makeup for my day to day activities and this BB cream works great.And also, I use it as pre-step before applying my heavier foundation, kinda like a primer, and let me tell you it works wonders!!!! Makes the foundation run smooth on your skin. I'm 44 yrs old, so I'm at that point in life I don't like the matte flat finish thats so common nowadays, I like a dewy (not oily) finish, fresh and luminous. And this bb cream gives me that, alone or under my foundation.

I've used this for years. I'm 64, so it doesn't make me look 50, but it doesn't crease or lay in my story lines, gives me s nice fresh look. A good primer will get you all day wesr and I work outside.

Es ligera, tienen buena cobertura, pensé que no le iba a dar al tono pero se adapto bien a mi color de piel. La cara no se siente pesada y honestamente es muy buena. La recomiendo ampliamente, es bastante económica y con poco producto cubres bien el rostro.

Nice and easy

I have been using Covergirl Smoothers BB cream for many yrs now . I used to buy it in our stores in Sydney but as usual it was discontinued. Thank heavens for Amazon who enables me to continually buy it on line. Great product I use the Med-Dark & buy the Fair to Light for a friend who always admires how natural my skin looks.

I have been using this for maybe 20 yrs. Just love it, it gives your face a nice natural glow

Waste product..not at all covering any blemnishes..
