Living Room humidifier
Happy so far with the item. Easy to install on your phone and control. Can be shared among all family members. We do notice an improvement in the humidity in our living room using daily AC and living in a desert environment.

I bought both the 10L and the 3L humidifier two years ago and they have been working great! They are easy to take apart and clean and I've been cleaning them once a week, but I feel I could have pushed in to every 10 days. Our living room is 400 sqf and the 10L keeps the humidity level great, while we use the 3L in the office. I love the sleak design of the 10L especially. There are several moisture levels, and it makes no noise at all. We use it throughout the winter here in Colorado where the air is extra dry and we're extremely satisfied. I need to send a huge shoutout to the customer service at Levoit. If there are any issues they go above and beyond to help you out. They have a loyal lifetime customer in me for sure!

Easy assembly, stands 3 foot tall. Setup a bit confusing if you set up with remote only, download the vesync app and setup is quick and painless. Very quiet, throws mist well and amount of mist can be increased or decreased. The lights on lid showing settings is not too bright, the large humidity dislap on front panel is large enough to read across the room. A good buy.

VeSync customer service reached out to me via email after I sent them an email and offered me a unit for free of charge to give it a try once again. I was skeptical about the unit since I did get a defective unit or possibly receiving a damaged unit that maybe shipping company poorly handled. I once again followed the instructions, removed the foam and filled the tank to max using purified water which is highly recommended. I turn it on and bam, it works out of box. Pretty sure they are selling defective unit here or maybe returned item that got damaged or shipping company damaging them. The unit that I received directly from VeSync (thanks to Raj and rest of the customer service team) works perfectly out of box and love the fact that I can control the unit via app in wireless mode. Customer service is still very slow but I feel like there are just few people handling the customer service so it kind of makes sense. I hope it improves over time because one email took me around a week or two which is very long. You need to make sure to clean this unit every week as the mist can start to smell. To clean it, you need to unplug the unit, remove the cover, inner part, dump the water (make sure you follow the arrow in the top corner), wipe it clean and do the same for the main base. I currently set mine to 55% so it'll last a bit while. I'll have to see how long this unit lasts since it didn't seem like genuine working unit that I ordered through here before. I will update my review in a year or two.

I've been running this 24-7 for over a month now (Upper Midwest winters with forced air heat are DRY). It has worked very well by keeping a 2000 something square foot suburban house between 30-40% humidity no matter how much the furnace is running. The caveat is that you need to run distilled water. A couple gallons per day during peak season. Are you going to buy 15 gallons of distilled water next time you go to the grocery store? No. There is a product (sold on here) called RO Buddie by Aquatic Life. Very reasonably priced. If you have a utility sink in your basement you can run this. It's billed as being for aquarium water but it does the same damn thing (take the minerals out). You do NOT need the 4th stage filter to make it zero water. Just three. Having 3ppm for a humidifier is fine when you have 800ppm tap water. Buy a 5 gallon food grade plastic jug (with screw top) to filter it into. Unlimited humidifier water, from the basement. If you do not use distilled (RO) water you are going to have mineral dust everywhere, bacteria problems, and a gunked up tank after awhile. I'm only giving this four stars because it could just stop working at some point in February. Who knows. Also because the hygrometer built into it is not accurate whatsoever. It's about 10% off from what my room thermometers are reading. Does the job though. Only 26W of power usage which is way more efficient than most other methods.

All instructions are clear and concise. I love the large capacity (takes 2 gallons of water). You can see the mist of water exiting the chute, but even after 12 hours, there is no water residue on the floor around the Humidifier. Works well and does the job. I would buy it again.
