I switched my older plastic to this metallic water fountain and this one is much better! Much silent, much easier to clean, even keeps the water cool and fresh

My older cat likes this fountain. It's surprisingly quiet. It didn't alarm the older cat so there was no adjustment period. He stopped using his bowl as soon as he saw this.The younger cat was suspicious of it. I think she would have used it but the older cat claimed it so I can't be sure. He has claimed so little, I didn't want to interfere.It's easy to assemble and clean. The capacity is good and it's easy to add water. It looks simple and clean. I like the appearance of the metal base.

This is a simple machine but it does the job. It makes zero noise. My cats love drinking from a faucet, so this is ideal for them, as it resembles a faucet. The only things I have issues with are: The pump is a little difficult to clean. It's not clear how to take it apart. And also: I wish it had a window on the tank so that I can see how much water is in it. When it runs low, the water pressure goes down and the flow becomes sporadic, which makes me fear that the pump could burn out if I don't notice it right away. Best practice is to take it apart and clean the whole thing weekly. Add water every couple of days.

Very nice fountain, steel is pretty solid, unlike some companies. Pump is a bit awkward to clean, and no way to figure water level sadly, but overall not bad. Hopefully it will last a while. It’s quiet and easy to clean.

UPDATE: I was able to talk by "chat" with Amazon reps and work out a return of this item. See below.This is a very simply designed and constructed fountain, or dripper, that goes together easily. It should be easily maintained, as it's all stainless steel. Unlike several others I have, putting this one together doesn't require precise alignment of any parts. Easy!The cats love its nearly silent stream of water and prefer it to two other different fountain models available to them.However, the unit I received appears to have a pinhole leak in the water well, as water slowly leaks out, and would damage my wood floor if I didn't use a large plant saucer underneath to catch it. I did not realize this within the very short return period available for this item. I have tried to get help through Amazon, but...no response.I really like the fountain for all the reasons cited. If you decide to purchase it, but be aware that there may be a defect with the water well.

It was really quiet and my cat started using it immediately, which I was really worried about. She uses it regularly and it's easy to clean and take care of. And it really does make no noise basically!

Get it! It looks very elegant, easy to set up, large capacity and very well made. The motor is silent yet powerful, keeps the water cold and clean.

This is a decent water fountain for its low price. However, after three-ish months of usage, I find that there are parts of the fountain that get moldy but is impossible to clean. The rubber part of the spout holder has small crevices the water gets into a causes mold which is impossible to disassemble and clean. My cat also likes to dip his paw into the fountain which easily contaminates the water and the water gets dirty within just a few days. The filter does not do a very good job cleaning the water. Though I did not mind cleaning the fountain every week, I'm discontinuing using this product as there are parts that I cannot reach with even with my tiny cleaning brush.
