Gets the job done. Has enough power to power PoE+ devices.
I got this because I wanted to upgrade to 2.5GbE and also power an Ubquiti AP which required PoE. It was only after I ordered this switch that I realized that the Ubquiti U7 Pro Max that I had bought actually needed PoE+, not regular PoE. For a while, I was worried if it was going to work at all, or even if it did work, was the Ubquiti AP going to throttle itself due to not having enough power? Ultimately everything worked great, with no throttling or anything.

Great switch
Great little switch. I ran fiber out to my barn and wanted a switch that could power all my PoE devices - this fit the bill perfectly. Highly recommend!

fast but got traffic full
After using for a few months the switch is fast a part from the noisy fan it was great but recently I don't know why the traffic is getting stuck and internet speed getting slow solving it by manually reboot the device. and they don't respond to the emails for support or if there is a firmware update no website nothing to return to.

Functional, excellent value
Without a doubt, this switch feels pretty cheap. It's a metal case, but it's bare bones, and the power supply seems like thin plastic. But so far, it just works. I have the un-managed, 4 x 2.5Gbps POE with 2 x 10Gbps SFP+ version. I'm using it to power a Ubiquiti U7-Pro with a 2.5Gbps interface and using an uplink via a 10Gbps SFP+ DAC cable to my core switch. I'm using a number of VLANs for the access point configuration and was a little concerned that the switch might not pass those tags through properly. My concern was unfounded. It's worked flawlessly so far. I'll update this review if it suddenly dies in a month, but this looks like a great value right now. Side note: I noticed a few reviewers complaining about the instructions (or lack thereof). It's an unmanaged dumb switch. There is literally nothing to configure, and no reason at all to even look at any instructions (I don't recall if I even saw any in the box). Just plug your cables in.

No USB power cable included
I was looking for a sturdy USB powered gigabit ethernet switch, for travel purposes. When traveling, all those power adapters ... I prefer interchangeable USB cables on USB Power Supplies (PS). And it would get knocked around, so sturdy. While the specifications do not mention anything about the power supply, some of the reviews mention this device comes with a USB power cable to be plugged in a USB PS. With free returns, I took the risk. It is a well vented and sturdy thick aluminum enclosure. Not that flimsy easily dented aluminum you may find on some of the "green" claim cost cutting reputable brands. Top score for build quality. It does however not come with a USB power cable. It comes with one of those traditional PS. I initiated a return because of it. Before bringing it back I ordered a replacement costing more then double. I promptly returned the replacement: plastic, poor build quality, no heat dissipation, ... Those advertised USB powered gigabit ethernet switches cost inexplicably more. I then scouted for a Universal DC 5.5x2.1mm cable, figuring this might do the trick. Indeed, a Universal DC 5.5x2.1mm Cable and one of my 3A USB PS now powers it. No more need for returning it. No hiccups under full load. I have not tested it with 2.4A or even 1A USB PS, but I suspect 2.4A would do just fine even under heavy load, and maybe even 1A on low load. I suspect, because the 3A PS generates no heat, whilst when fast charging a phone it does. If going down this Universal DC 5.5x2.1mm cable route, seek a quality cable. Quality USB power as required for this type of device is subject to the quality of the cable. You can get away with lower A PS, but a lower quality cable will break the setup.

So far so good
I replaced my 5 spot to this one. It was simply plug in and use. I now have extra ports available where before I had to trade them off. Great value and the speed seems to be good. I haven't had any slow downs. The size is small and does wase space which is good for mu use. Functions a claims and is of decent quality

Replacement unit is working as expected
Update: my initial switch had a reliability problem, and the ienRon store offered a full refund for the defective unit. I re-purchased the same switch, and the new one has been working reliably for over a month now without the hangs I was seeing with the previous one. The documentation with the product was unclear about how to get support, so if you have any issues with your product contact the ienRon store.

I get 8-9Gbits/sec from 4x2.5G ports 802.3ad from iperf3. I just need LACP for 2.5g ports and this works well.
