The comfort and reliability
These work very well and you don't even notice you have them on. Great protection for the active person with hearing aides.

Protect yourself from hearing aide loss!
They work. I have not had a hearing aide get lost, and have avoided a $400 dollar replacement fee. Having the retention system attached to each hearing aide is a mild annoyance, but it is worth it!

Kindergartners love them
I volunteer in a kindergarten class at a local school and we did this for a beginning of school craft activity. The kindergartners loved it. It is now December and I have noticed that some of the kindergartners still have and wear them.

The hearing aid retainer eliminates the concern about losing one of them.
The "strap" blends in well, while helping keep my aids where they should be. It's a good deal.

Worse Than No Lanyard
This handsome product looks like it would be effective, but it fails in all respects. My OTEs were both lost before I learned of lanyards. The performance failings of this brand probably apply to similar models. (But all I could find were similar models!) First, the little rubber loops are so soft that they easily slide off their hearing aid. Both hearing aids flipped out from their loops, silently, and were lost. Replacements repeatedly did the same trick; luckily they were found. Do Not Buy this type of junk!! One poor trick is to tie a knot around the ear wire, then slip the loop onto the OTE body, place the knot where it won't jam getting the stuff onto the ear, and tighten the knot. It is difficult to set the OTE parts on the ears, especially if you have glasses on the clutter. Glue might work better. Or, perhaps knot each end of a length of thin, soft and flexible wire, and pray.

They do work well
This tether fits my hearing aids ok and doesn't hinder hearing or fitting in my ear. Once I figured out how the clip works it clips to my shirt well.
