Great products, great buying experience
Great products, great buying experience!I normally don't write reviews but this time. I really have to tell everyone my experience.I ordered a set of shin guards for my son and they came too big. I asked if it would make sense to exchange. This is the reply I got:***********Hi (my name)!Yes we would be happy to get you a size down on these for your son! No problem at all. I'm going to send them right away. No need for an exchange or return on them. Amazon charges a restocking fee and we'd rather save you the cost and hassle. We would just ask that you see if a friend can use them or donate to a cleat swap. Or perhaps your son can grow into them!I've just placed the order for a size SMALL in the black/white. Amazon shows it will be there soon:Estimated Delivery Date for These Items: Friday, April 27, 2018Hope this helps!RichDashSport

Great product and excellent customer service
We bought three sets. Two size Small for 6 yr old twins and a Medium for our 9 yr old.Excellent product. They fit well, they're easy to pull on and they're soft/comfy. The ankle sleeve is flexible without being bulky. The kids feel "safe" in them now that they've been knocked a couple of times and didn't feel any pain.DashSport customer service was great - outstanding actually. The medium size was too small for my 9 yr old but that's not due to the product. Evidently she's extra long in the shin bones for her height. They don't make a larger size in this product but they have a brand new design which should work well for her. They immediately offered to send us a complimentary set of the new product - at no charge to us. They were very kind, sincere, and went above and beyond my expectations. I will leave a follow up review on the new product after she's given the new product a test run (or two).

Sit on top of shin.
Edited: I emailed the seller and they are sending me a small free of charge to compare the 2 and make sure that I get the correct fit. I could not be happier with their service. Hopefully they will fit better will update when I receive them.I read the reviews and measured my sons shin and I believe I got the right length. Received them today and they still seemed to run small and sit on top of his shin and afraid they are going to end up digging into his leg. Thinking I should've gone a size up. Unfortunately he has practice today so going to cross my fingers and hope for the best. My son is 42 inches and 43 pounds.

Work great Fit well
We got 2 sets, one in a small and one in a medium. The small is for my daughter who is skinny and a little on the tall side, she will be 6 years in 2 weeks. They fit her perfectly. My son got the blue ones in Medium. He will be 8 this summer and also on the skinny, taller side for his age. They also fit him well. I will say that the straps' velcro is not long enough and therefore they would not stay up and on if it was not for the socks that go over them. It is like this on both of my children. If they just had made the velcro section longer than 3/4 an inch, these would be perfect. They are a little wide but only because my children are so thin. I love the ankle guard in them as well. I think these will fit my children for a good year plus 6 months, than will need to go bigger. We are super happy with our purchase!

Constructed well! Sizes seem about right, measure shin first!
I will update if the quality is different after my son wears these once the season starts but the quality is great (especially for the price!) We tried them on and he was comfortable wearing them, although I'm cautious because they looked a little small. After reading the reviews I measured his shin like the pictures illustrate and ordered but they still seem small. I guess we will see. Just for the record, my son just turned 5 and is 45 inches tall and 45 lbs. He has thicker thighs but his lower legs are average size. He wears a size 12 shoe normally but for his cleats we had to order a size up (since soccer socks are thick and these guards fit in the shoe as well. I think the small size will work this season but we will have to go to a medium next year for sure!

Great Shin Guards
These have worked out great for our son. Just a few things to note when using these. 1. Our child wanted to use his lacrosse cleats which can be a little higher on the ankle than a typical soccer cleat. They don't work with anything but low top soccer cleats because of the ankle protection. But we do love the ankle protection which makes these absolutely worth the purchase. 2. My son's calves are probably a bit skinny so the calf strap with velcro is a little long on him - his socks have to keep them on his leg. I would purchase these again (for another child or the next size up as he grows) in a heart beat. They are very high quality. Plus the company has been amazing about reaching out with helpful tips and instructions.

Works well, but narrow on the shin
My little guy is ~46 inches tall and these are the right height, but narrow on his shins

Great shin guards but sizing slightly off.
These are great and fit my son very comfortably. However, I agree with the reviews that say the sizing is off. My son is 43" and about 40lbs. So i ordered the XS which is supposed to be up for kids to 47". When we tried them on, the length was ok but the width was way too small. The curve of the guards was too narrow and it didn't allow them to go around his leg. Instead the guard edges sat over the front of his shins rather than hugging sides. While he is lean, he does have stronger muscular legs. No problem at all once we exchanged for a size Small. So i recommend sizing up if your child's legs are not SUPER thin.
