Q: Does this product have caraway seeds in it?

Not so far as I can tell. There is nothing that looks like seeds visible. The ingredients on the label are white cabbage, white wine, salt, and ascorbic acid.

Q: I’ve heard that if it’s pasteurized it loses its probiotic benefits. Is this true?

I bought this because my German friends, from Germany recommended it. As far as I know it wouldn’t be kraut if pasteurized. Kraut is a living organism.

Honey I don't know but I ate the entire jar when I tried it. I'm sorry if you have to watch your salt intake. If that's the case then this is not for you. Bless you.

Q: i`m having a hard time opening the cover of the bottle. how can i easily open it?

I know of two methods - #1 - use a rubber band around the bottom edge of the lid. This creates friction between the lid and the jar and can open many tight jars. #2 - I turn the jar upside down so it's straight up and down /at a right angle / at a 90o angle -to the counter top. Then whack it down FLAT on top of the lid as hard as you can MAKING SURE IT'S HITTING DOWN FLAT. Invariably it opens easily after that and I'm an 85 y.o. female. ( I love operating as low tech as I can get ! )
