Works great and with an LED.

Every 3 tier fountain and this pump was perfect. In the evening the lights would cascade up the water fall, it would just come to life, so beautiful. I purchased it July 2020, It was eady to keep clean, good flow of water, the birds all took turns drinking and bathing in the fountain. They would have a fit if I didn't plug it in early in the morning. Today was a sad day, as the pump stopped working. The pump was easy to take apart, but it was still clean in side, I had thought maybe a frog had gotten stuck in it, but no. The problem was where the cord plugs into the electric plug, as it bends down towards the ground, the plastic on the wires became exposed and then broke. I am sad as this were I spend my time outside on my patio. Maybe this has a warranty and I can get a new one.

I am sure the suction cups work very well in a tank. Not so much on brick. But better than I thought.The pump itself moves a lot of water. Not sure on the vertical yet. And the cord could be longer.All in all, a very good pump for the $$.

So easy to set up, and I love the additional light also.Our original pump had worn itself out so we purchased this pump as a replacement.Works great and reasonably priced too!

This pump has a lot of power. Perhaps too much power for my small birdbath. It shoots quite high causing a lot a lot of the water to splash out of the birdbath causing it to become very shallow to the point that the pump barely works. But it does keep working and does not burn out even when the water gets extremely low. The water control lessens the flow but not enough for what I need. The LED lights are a neat function!I have no doubt this would be a great comp in the right application so it’s not working properly is entirely on me. The only thing I can pick it would be the noise that the motor makes. I can hear it from a long ways away. 🤫

I bought this Topbry 400 GPH fountain pump for our outdoor concrete terra cotta fountain the end of August 2023 to replace the previous water pump that lasted 5-years, but didn't install this new pump into our fountain until the last week of September. It worked great for almost two weeks. I can't return it because it's past 30 days from the date of purchase.Two days ago, I noticed that only the lights were working-the pump had completely stopped running. Thinking that maybe something, like a leaf or something, might have gotten caught in the pump's propeller, I unplugged the fountain, checked for some kind of debris, but there was nothing so I plugged it back in....still, only the lights work. There's no movement nor sound coming from the pump. It's completely dead.I then completely removed the pump from the fountain and brought it inside. I popped off the end caps to inspect the pump more closely. Still no debris inside, but the light ring was working fine. I even rinsed off the pump inside and out then plugged it back in while it was submerged in a deep bucket of water.....still, only the light ring works.I'm definitely not buying this brand again. I'm going to try a different brand instead. I suggest others do the same.

The media could not be loaded. Nice little pump with plenty of power for my fountain. I have a bout a 2 1/2 foot rise and it seems to keep up just fine. I actually have it dialed to the lowest setting in the video because I don’t want water to spill from the side of the bowls. it could be more powerful if I change the setting. The multicolored light ring is also very nice. I am very satisfied and happy with the product.

This pump is failing after one month of operation. Something internal is failing, perhaps a bearing, because if you shut the pump off it will not spin when you turn it back on unless you open it up and give the impeller a push. Everything seems clear inside with no debris or obstructions.Keep looking if you are after a more reliable pump.Otherwise, in the month that it worked reliably, it moved a good amount of water, the light worked flawlessly and brightly, and it made our fountain look great. It also shipped with an assortment of hose barbs to match your application. Unfortunately all this gets wiped away by its short life.
