Planner is helpful for those of us with an 8 period day. Not a bunch of extras in it I won't use. Monthly calendar could be bigger. Planner need to have tabs at each change of month so I can find each month!

I like the hard bound as it holds up to use. Great for teachers still using physical planners. I don’t like the digital versions.

I purchased this lesson planner for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year.Here are my two cents:* I like the way it's organized with the days of the week across the top. This allows me to see an entire day's subjects without having to flip the book over to see more info.* It's already dated for the entire year so I don't accidentally write in the wrong dates like I did last year!* The pocket in the back of the book is great placement. I had a planner last year with a pocket in the front and everything kept falling out. Sheesh!* The daily subject spaces are lined so I can write neatly and keep the info organized nicely.* The calendar at the beginning of each month is handy, but I wish it was on a two-page spread instead of only one page. It's just not enough room to truly write a note.* I wish it had monthly tabs as this is a VERY handy feature for teachers. I'm willing to pay a bit more to have this feature as it makes a huge difference in planning lessons.* It's just so pretty. I enjoy looking at the peaceful cover when I pick it up.

Several years ago, I was looking for a new teachers' plan book when I came across this Elan hardcover, spiral-bound planner. I've been ordering it every year since. Not only are the front cover choices attractive, but also the hard front and back covers add durability that will last the school year and beyond. My planners look as good at the end of the year as the do at the beginning of the year, and I'm tough on them. I like that the spiral binding allows me to flip the front cover under the back cover for ease in writing on the right-hand pages.The price is right. It's less costly than other brands that justify the higher cost by inserting a sheet of stickers or other superfluous accoutrements alleged to help organize the planner but ultimately are not worth the time or effort. The one accoutrement Elan does provide is a useful bookmark containing notches along its left side so that it affixes to the spiral binding. The bookmark facilitates a quick flip open to the current week.What I like most about the planner is that it opens to a full school week across the left and right pages, providing ample room for sketching plans. At the top of each of the 5 planning columns is printed the day and date, so you need not waste time writing them in. The sixth column provides space for notes. Each week contains a thoughtful quote (beats having to research them) that I add to the daily agenda that I project on the whiteboard. My students take notice and call me out if I neglect to post a quote, and on occasion, some students commit a favorite to memory.If you want a an easy to use, cost-effective planner sans the embellishments, then this is it.

I love this planner. It helps me stay organized and remember which classes did what each day.

Love the hardcover so my pages don’t get bent. Pocket in the back, wish there was one if the front as well. Picture on the cover is vibrant. Price was reasonable. Boxes for lesson plans were amply side and the included notes column gave me plenty of room. I only buy predated lesson plan books now, which save me the trouble if having to write the dates myself. On par with more expensive plan books. I would certainly buy again.
