Follow the directions!!!
I carefully read all the reviews on these noodles. Yes, it is true they smell a bit like fish when opened. I followed the directions carefully and the smell completely disappeared. For my first attempt I made some pho. Yes it is true the noodles have an interesting bite to them but are nothing like the rubber band comparison I read. Over all I'm really trying to live there keto life and I'm really glad I bought these. They're not noodles, no but they are a great replacement for someone who is missing his carbs very much!

Research first! Terrible GI consequences for me.
I wish I had done more research on this product before deciding to try it. Several hours after trying the fettuccine noodles I had severe abdominal pain, nausea, and vomiting. This continued for several hours, to the point that I considered going to the emergency room. But around that time I was able to go the bathroom and without getting too graphic, I'll just say that they mean it when they say you cannot digest these noodles. They will come out just like they go in. Not a fun experience. This relieved at least some of the discomfort, but I still had GI issues the next morning and remainder of that day. Needless to say I will not be eating the rest of the noodles. After doing more research, I have found that this experience is typical for many people and at least one death has occurred from eating shirataki noodles, due to intestinal blockage. So my advice is to be very careful with this product.

Give them a chance! They are better than they smell!
These really are better than they smell! I've been on Keto since May of 2018. One of my favorite things is pasta, but with carbs and the amount of time it takes to make them, I haven't done it. Then I came across these little wonders. I had tried them before a long time ago and forgot they existed. So I tried them again and remembered I had loved them. Two facts about me: I'm not adventurous when it comes to food and I'm a REALLY picky eater (I'm owning it!). So, for me to say buy these is a big deal. Here's the only caution I give: don't smell them until you have rinsed them. They're packaged in a liquid that smells awful. If you didn't pay attention to that statement and smelled them anyways and are now wondering what you got yourself into... rejoice! Once you rinse them for 20 to 30 seconds (Note: I like to go a minute or two), that smell will go away.Personally, I don't think these taste like anything, but they help me feel full and can absorb the taste of other things.I love top ramen (and no, I'm not still a college student). Can't really have that on Keto, so I made my own recipe. Take the Angel hair pasta kind, add to chicken broth with a bouillon cube and you have top ramen!

I really thought I was gonna hate these but for zero calories & zero carbs
I really thought I was gonna hate these but for zero calories & zero carbs, I was willing to try it out. I actually like them!! Don’t do a side by side taste test with real noodles. These are NOT real noodles so don’t expect it to be similar. But Prepare them correctly and the texture you crave and the full feeling you want is there. I’ve made pad thai, spaghetti, chicken & rice... all good! Made them for my Dad since he’s trying to minimize his carb intake and he enjoyed them too.

BEWARE, it is made in China! False Advertising!
You think you are ordering a product that is made in the USA, but when it arrives it clearly states that it is made in China. We are not talking about a plastic toy or book or gardening tool....we are talking about food that we are putting into our bodies. I have asked for a refund. We have no idea about the quality control and what is truly put in the food items in other countries. It’s false advertising. We need to receive the item that we paid for! Beware!
