I needed a retriever to pickup the tennis balls after practicing my serve. This retriever is quiet sturdy and picks up the tennis balls easily. I haven't tried it on pickle balls. I'd recommend it to anyone who wants to save energy by not bending their back

Works but not super sturdy
This does what it says it does and is easy to store out of the way beside the net. However it is very narrow and would be hard to reach into and grab balls. If you're using it to load a ball machine or a larger hopper then it gets a little awkward as well since the handles don't lock into place.Given that the larger Gamma hoppers are around the same price with locking handles you can use as a stand, I would go with those instead unless you just need something smaller and more portable.For a space saving option that's lightweight and easy to use for cleanup, this works well.
