Once again a beautiful love story. So glad I purchased it. B Jackson never disappoints, when comes to Madaris series.

Nolan Madaris has determined to not allow his Grandmother pick his wife even though she has a near perfect record. Ivy Chapman's grandmother is a "great friend" of Mama Laverne. At times this story is hilarious in how two Senior Citizens orchestrate their interactions. However, very quickly Nolan "the player" is getting hooked in the plan he and Ivy put together. They find they have much in common.However, a blast from Ivy's past tries to use her to do something totally against who she is.Ms. Jackson once again, told the story of what seemed to be an unlikely pair who finds their happy ending..great read..

Ivy comes up with a plan that she thinks will work, but she has to get Nolan to go along with the plan, that they think will get their grandmothers off of their back.Nolan & Ivy though they had the Best Laid Plans, but Nolan & Ivy was not a match for their grandmothers, especially Mama Laverne. Nolan & Ivy didn’t expect to fall in love but they did. As with any couple there is stumble block and Ivy ex-boyfriend with a plan of his own.DIALOGUEGreat romance as with any Brenda Jackson story. Nolan and Ivy had a best laid plans that everyone knew would fail in a good way. I enjoyed get to g to know both characters back stories. Mrs. Jackson's knows her readers and what they expect. She never fails. Although, I loved the two main characters, I enjoyed seeing the "A Team" back in action. Anytime I know Alex is in the book I know there will be some kind of drama and excitement. Loved the book...waiting for next one. Loved all the new babies. By the way, I have a niece whose name is London.

I have read every book in this series but this by far was my favorite! Nelson and Ivy attempt to do the impossible and outsmart Nolan's Great-Grandma Mama Laverne. Ivy's grandmother is also in cahoots with Mama Laverne to see Nolan ad Ivy marry. Ivy comes up with a plan to fake being a couple in an effort to stop the matchmaking. The couple soon learns there is no way to out smart Mama Laverne and realize they love each other very much.I liked this story because we got to catch up with the Madaris clan and some of their friends from previous books. I also liked that Nolan was a gentleman but was willing to stand up to Mama Laverne when needed. Nolan also appeared to be very caring towards Ivy. Ivy was smart and beautiful and Nolan showed her that he liked her for her mind not just her body.

This book was just wonderful. Again you have shown how family looks out for one another. Grandma Laverne is strong and feisty. Thanks for bringing in the friends, Drake, Trevor, Ashton, and Tori. However, you stated that grandma Laverne is 90 something years old. Have you considered her death. If so which book will it be in. Maybe Victoria or maybe a book on how the family is getting along after her death. Whatever you do I look forward to. Keep up the good work.

Nolan and Ivy's story was so sweet, hot, and intense! The kissing episodes were such a hot lead into an inferno of love scenes. Mrs. J did not disappoint....omg...Nolan stood true to his sexy Madaris roots and their sex appeal is a given. I half expected her ex to show himself sooner than he did and he was handled in true Madaris fashion.

When ever I read a Brenda Jackson book, I feel part of the story.

Lovely holiday read.

I like that we were able to see what pass characters were up to I love that aspect most about this book.I really missed this family and there friends. I can't wait for Victoria story.great book Miss Jackson great book.
