Great product!
I have used a number of products over the years that do the same thing as this one. They ALWAYS leaked! These were easy to install and have not leaked a drop. Highly recommend

Work perfectly. None of the problems with other adapters.
Easy to install on 0.7" OD 1/2" tubing. No leaks. Threaded easily onto the hose.I replaced my existing adapters (another brand). Every piece of that brand leaked at the swivel (they were properly sized to the tube), was hard to press the tubing into it, and was difficult to thread onto the hose.

Works well but, difficult to put on.
I had a very hard time getting these secured onto the 1/2" hose but, once everything was installed it felt very secure. No leaks and it's holding up to the weather so far.

Fits Rain Bird ½" just fine; not sure why some have problems!
To be exact, Rain Bird ET63918 is the ½" emitter tubing that the big box stores in my area are carrying, and this adapter fits that just fine. I was really glad to find this, because this is the exact part that Rain Bird used to include in its Faucet Connector Kit (Rain Bird FCKIT; Amazon product number B000FJYT1C). You'll see this part in photos on Amazon's page for the FCKIT. However, Rain Bird now uses a different faucet/hose-to-tubing adapter in the FCKIT. The photo on Rain Bird's FCKIT packaging still shows the old part, the one that is being sold here, but the part inside the package is a different part. The critical thing is that the tubing end of the new FCKIT part is slightly larger in diameter than the old part, and therefore it is very difficult to insert into Rain Bird's ½" tubing. Both salespeople at the stores and Rain Bird's customer service people are telling customers to heat up the tubing so they can force it over the new adapter. That is absolutely dumb. I've written to Rain Bird imploring them to go back to using the original adapter in the FCKIT. In the meantime, I am glad I found this source for the original adapter, which I substitute for the dumb part that now comes with the FCKIT.By the way, the adapter that Rain Bird is now including in the FCKIT looks exactly like Amazon product no. (ASIN) B01986FARO, though I haven't had the opportunity to do a side-by-side comparison.

Worked very well
I had to replace a leaking fitting and this one worked well. Some have indicated they had installation problems, so here are a few hints about how I did it.1. The ID of the tubing is very important. It needs to be a little over 0.5". I checked mine with a 1/2" drill bit. You could also use a 1/2" dowel. The bit/dowel should be slightly (not much) loose in the end of the tubing.2. Make sure you don't have any rough edges on your tubing. If you do have some or if the end is not a square cut, make a new cut.3. Righty-tighty does not work for this fitting. Screw the locking (lower) nut clockwise until it bottoms against the upper nut. Push the tubing onto the fitting and make sure part of it goes over the barb-part of the fitting. Then tighten lower (locking) nut counter-clockwise until it is tight over the end of the tubing. If it leaks, you may need to use pliers to tighten it a little more. Don't overtighten as it is plastic and will crack.I didn't have to do this, but if you have trouble getting the end of the tubing over the barb, you can heat the end of the tubing with a hair dryer or by placing it in hot water. This will make it easier to stretch over the barb.

Almost impossible to screw tight
After inserting the hose, the threaded nut won't quite go high enough to grab the thread. It makes it slightly worse in the fact that as you try to twist it, the whole fitting twists and the only place to grab is the hose end which is designed to swivel. You end up having to use plyers, so it isn't too bad.But I was still unable to get the threaded ends to catch, even after applying all sorts of forces in different directions. I ended up swapping out for the pressure fittings, and they worked great.

Too Over-tight: Cannot Twist on 1/2" hose tubes
The media could not be loaded. They should had tested these before selling them. I've been dealing with this for the last few weeks. You can try using cheap/thin 1/2" tubes from Amazon and you still can't twist anything to lock. My irrigation timers had been leaking water thru this Habitech adapters. If you remove the 1/2" tubes, then it'll work. But you have to know, it's very very tight. My hands have been hurting in the last 3 1/2 weeks for trying to lock these things. I believe, these were NOT made loose enough to add 1/2" tubes to use. I don't recommend buying this. You should buy another brand. See the video and pix.

Great no-leak design
I’ve tried at least 3 other products with varying designs to make this connection, but this is the first I’ve seen where I’m confident it will not leak. Excellent fit and connection quality.

Un bon lien entre une minuterie et un système d’irrIgation
Cela me sert pour relier des tubes 1/2” à une minuterie 3 zones Orbit.La connection est étanche.
