Barbie Signature Doll, 65th Anniversary Collectible with Blonde Hair, Black & White Gown, Sapphire Gem Earrings & Sunglasses

Beautiful anniversary doll, and I bought one for my daughter, she was very happy

This is a beautiful doll. Her long, black and white gown is poofy, but not too poofy for me (I don't like my dolls' outfits to take up too much space for me to have room to display them!). She has an adorable, sassy look on her face like she's thinking, "I know something you don't know." LOL. The gloves are great. I kind of wish the sunglasses hadn't come attached to the doll's head, but it's not as though I have a better idea about how best to package those with a collectible doll. Her shoes are backless, but they still don't come off as easily as some other shoes for collectible dolls. They've left some little dents on her feet because getting backless shoes to stay on the doll without rubber bands requires some tightness, but those marks should be covered up by any shoes that are put on the doll anyway, so it doesn't bother me.I am a collector who likes to take the dolls out of the boxes, so I don't concern myself too much with the condition of the box. That said, it was sent in a Barbie shipper box *inside* an Amazon box, so the inner box arrived in perfect condition.And the best part: HER HAIR. It is spectacular. It's in long, curly twists (not braids, twists - and no, I don't really know the technical term for the style, I just know it isn't braided). And it's soft! No other Barbie I've ever seen has hair like this. If not for her amazing hair, I probably would not have bothered with the doll, even if the rest of the features are pretty great.I held off on getting her for quite a while because of the price, but I knew if I just kept waiting it would only go up, so eventually there was a pretty good deal and I just went for it. Glad I did!

This 65th anniversary Barbie is very well done. The details inside & out of the box are exceptional. Barbie’s dress features layers & beading & her sunglasses are the chef’s kiss.Great doll

This was purchased as a gift for my best friend who loves Barbie but wouldn’t purchase this for herself. Everything, from the packaging to the actual doll was perfect. When it was delivered, my friend was shocked and very happy. Her first words were “she’s gorgeous”!! Hearing that made my day 😁. I would have paid full price but for some reason, the African American doll cost more than the Caucasian doll and that just didn’t sit right with me, so I waited and kept my eye on my local Target and Walmart prices. Amazon had a Prime Day sale and both dolls were the same price again so I made my purchase. The doll shipped directly from Mattel so I’m still curious about the price difference 🤔.

I bought this Barbie as a birthday gift for my sister that is a Barbie collector. This doll is gorgeous. I love how they harken back to the original Barbie with the black and white dress. Beautifully designed dress, and doll is stunning. She will love it.
