Smashing little kettle
Absolutely marvellous little kettle. Bought for holiday and it will fit nicely in our case with the cups all included etc. boil speed is good and such as bargain price. Easy to use. I boiled it twice as per instruction and no funny smell or taste left after . My elderly mum uses one at home because she can’t lift a big kettle. So we knew they are durable.

Initial impressions are good
Bought for use in my campervan, it's reasonably well made for a plastic kettle, no removable base and a short cable but has a level fill indicator on both sides. Maximum capacity of 0.85 litres which took about 6 minutes to boil on 240v mains, drawing 0.96 kW. Spout pours reasonably well but lid is a bit flimsy so make sure it is properly closed before pouring. Also tested on my Bluetti v100 elite with a mug full of water, approx 300 ml which took about 3 minutes to boil at 0.85 kW, using 5% of the 1024 Wh battery capacity. Some people have complained about the plasticy taste of the water, I haven't tried it yet so can't comment. I have knocked off a star for the slightly flimsy lid but overall it is a good bit of kit which uses very little power and will be ideal for off grid camping when used with the power bank. Would recommend

True to description and excellent quality.
This kettle is sturdy but light weight. The 2 cups are comfortable to use and you can fill them twice from 850 mls maximum capacity. Speed of boiling will depend on the local electric voltage but since I will be using this on holiday it will not be an issue. NB. A while ago I was looking for a light- weight kettle for a frail elderly friend as his existing one had a larger capacity and was relatively heavy. I would say that this would have been ideal in that situation. I am very happy with my purchase.

Value for money
It's a little electric kettle that comes with two cups and spoons to make and have your tea/coffee. Very good value for money. It's plastic and built cheap. But that fits it's price and functionality as it made for travel. Easy to operate and has a capacity of about 3 mugs.

Great travel kettle, very satisfied
Fantastic little kettle. I had an older Lakeland travel kettle but when I was going to Spain recently I checked it over and it had stopped working. After a quick check on Google, that particular kettle had been recalled due to safety concerns 3 years previously. Too late for me to return it so needed a new one. In Spanish hotels they don't usually provide any tea or coffee machines or equipment, it all has to be ordered via room service. Having learned from a previous trip, I wanted to go prepared and after a lot of research plumped for this kettle. It was from a well known make so I was satisfied it would work well. I tested it at home and was pleased with the speed it boiled water. Bonus cups and spoons inside but I use my own cups, spoons were useful though. For the price and warranty, this is a bargain. Extremely slow boil on lower voltages
Bought it to take on holiday to America. It’s fairly small and compact for travel, but be warned it takes absolutely ages to boil. I suppose this is due to the lower voltage but since it said it was a dual voltage kettle I assumed it would work as normal!

Perfect for Travelling – A Handy Little Kettle!
This Russell Hobbs travel kettle has come with me on two trips so far one to a caravan park and one to a hotel and honestly, it’s been a game changer. I drink a lot of tea, and relying on hotel kettles (or worse, no kettle at all) just wasn’t working for me. This one is compact but doesn’t feel flimsy, and it boils water quickly for such a small thing. The two little cups and spoons that come with it were a nice surprise super handy and they tuck away inside the kettle itself. I also love that it’s dual voltage, so it’s one less thing to worry about when travelling abroad. Great for camping too. It’s simple, practical, and just does the job without any fuss. Would definitely recommend if you like your creature comforts when you’re away from home!
