This is a great little duster for powdered sugar. Easy to use and works great. I don't reccomend trying to use this for spices, as they are too fine and you'll get more than you bargained for. But overall a great tool.

Have used this now for the 3rd time to dust oven-ready chicken wings with baking powder and with smoked paprika. It has already paid for itself at least 3 times over. Am quite sure there are a myriad uses for it, but I’m not a pastry chef/baker, but it is quite delightful for dusting/sprinkling fine grain spices! I very highly recommend this one - I read reviews on LOTS before I settled on this one!

I have been baking and this is perfect for putting flour on the countertop evenly so that it is easier to work with dough.

First I want to say that this is a great product. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because it is plastic. It’s a perfectly good duster and I use it quite frequently. It is spring loaded and does work/move a little rough sometimes.Definitely a good product for the price point.

Sprinkles just the right amount of flour. Evenly and nice and fine.

For the second year, I took on the task of making the scones for our community tea party. Sprinkling just the right amount of powdered sugar on the scones has been a mess. This handy-dandy tool makes the task a breeze (not to mention fun!) The spring-loaded mechanism to load the powdered sugar is SO easy to use. It's on my list as a gift to my favorite bakers!

I make sourdough bread usually once a week. I use a 50/50 mixture of rice flour and bread flour to dust the bannetons and working surface, as well as the bread itself. I was worried that the courseness of the rice flour would not work with this. It works perfectly. Excellent control, and extremely useful.

How I lived without this sifter is beyond me....it is so awesome. Just dip it in your flour and when you close it then it automatically levels off. Super nice for coating your work surface to roll out dough or for icing sugar it will give you a nice even dusting over cakes and what not.
