Excellent for rainwater bitts too
I have a couple of rainwater butts down the bottom of the garden, linked back uphill to the ones off the main house roof. My problem was how to stop the water overflowing the bottom garden ones and gradually draining the higher ones up the hill. This little float valve solves the problem perfectly. Shuts off when the system is full and allows surplus to drain through the overflow up at the house. Excellent job.

No use
Bought to fit inside an ibc for automatic shutoff of rainwater.After fitting I couldn't get any water through the unit,Removed and bench tested with the kitchen tap and length of pipe, still nothing, neither units would let any water through even with the float and plunger removed. (Even with the internal filter removed)
