Inax, now part of the Lixil group, has been making and improving on their shower toilets for decades and the result is an incredibly well engineered, highly functional product at a nice price. Easy to install as well. The toilet comes with an installation manual that, despite being in Japanese, is easy to follow due to the detailed diagrams/drawings. When the toilet arrives, in its shipped from Japan original carton, you might worry that the metric (standard in Japan) fixtures will flummox your installation process but no need to. That is, the seller, Style Japan Shop, has swapped out the metric fixture/knuckle pipe with one that will fit US plumbing. They even included a flex pipe in case you need one. You will find it a joy to work with a precision crafted product like this one. This latest product comes with an ingenious mounting bracket that prevents the seat from shifting/squiggling on the base after months of usage, a slight problem with the Inax seat that I bought in Japan and used for 20 years. Please note, though, that actuating the heating elements, in both the water tank and the seat, is done by simultaneously pushing the (middle right) buttons, labelled “便座” and “温水”, and holding them down for 2 seconds.
