Must have in all First-Aid kits. Read review for tips.
I had a severely deep cut that looked like it was getting infected and the Curad brand they gave me at the hospital helped a lot but this item instantly started showing the cut getting much better and started curing much faster, buy the 8 piece [Band-Aid Brand of First Aid Products Flexible Rolled Gauze Dressing for Minor Wound Care, Soft Padding and Instant Absorption, 3 Inches by 2.1 Yards, Value Pack 5 ct] . They changed it to a 5 piece now but it is still worth the $10.34 and don't get the 4 inch one because the 3 inch one does the job and cost $3 less almost. If anything by 2 of the 3inch dressing gauze and don't by the yellow xeroform Petrolatum dressing with the dressing gauze because the yellow stuff will make a mess on all your clothing and bed. Now that I know what Xeroform Petrolatum is and how cheap it was for 25 pieces.. I have a few in my cars First-Aid, a put a few in the medicine cabinet. Actually my mom got a slight burn on her arm the other day and I rushed over to apply the XP dressing and use half pf the dressing gauze and she said I probably did a better job than a nurse probably would because the band-aid dressing gauze didn't even need tape because it uses Kling technology so it stays in place with no tape. So you save money on buying it since you don't need much. I mean 5 pieces of 3in x 2.1 yards for $10 and then $19 for 25 pieces of Medical Xeroform Petrolatum Dressing Patch 5"x 9", Non-Adherent Gauze Dressings Soft Fine Mesh Gauze Patch for Burns, Wound Care Lacerations, Skin Grafts Surgical Incision.. The fact that it cost less than $1 each and it gives me piece of mind.. is priceless to me really.

Worked great over burn cream without sticking
I got a bad burn over steam. This nonstick dressing helped keep the burn cream in place without peeling off my skin like the usual gauze would have done over burnt skin. The skin has healed already and I still have plenty of packages of dressing left to keep in my first aid kit. The dressing has a slight medical smell, but we don’t care much about that. The package was delivered very fast: I ordered in the evening and it came in the morning couple of hours after ordering. The price is reasonable for the amount we got. Thanks.

Quality burn wound dressing
The instructions show that these 4”x4” patches are gauze infused with a mix of petroleum and 3% Bismuth tribromophenate and to not use these if a patient is allergic to that ingredient. Yet the individual packet does not list the ingredients. I was also unable to tear the packet and I had to used scissors to open it. The patches look well made and to me they smell like iodine. Each patch is supposed to be good for 3 years and there is a date stamped on the back. I ordered mine in November of 2024 and the expiration date stamped on the back of mine was July of 2024 so that is the approximate range I was expecting as there is a delay from when they are manufactured to when they are sold. Please see my photos.
