Works well in my husband's volunteer work
My husband volunteers for Habitat for Humanity and uses his airless sprayer often. He asked me to order this spray valve as a replacement to repair his sprayer. It has worked well, and he is pleased with the purchase.

Took some tinkering to install the plastic parts
The valve came on time and works fine, but there seems to be some tolerance issues with the plastic lever's manufacturing. Nothing a little common sense and ingenuity can't resolve though. First thing I did was super glue the loose fitting fixating/holding pin into the base. It would suck to lose this short little metal rod. Then the pin that holds the lever and engages the the spring and lifts the valve was impossible to push through. I ended up bending it a little before realizing the problem. I used a drill bit that fit loosely in the hole to ream out the plastic. Since the pin was now a bit distorted from trying to force it I put it in my drill chuck and turned it against a sheet of 80 grit sandpaper. I was then able to force the pin through. Otherwise, the business part of this valve is the main body which works just as good as the genuine graco part that retails for 4-5 times more. I coated the threads with a small dab of synthetic grease as well, I don't think teflon or pipe dope is necessary to seal the threads. We'll see how long it takes for this one to fail, but the genuine Graco valves don't set the standard very high to begin with. Either way ,at this price I will definitely buy another to have on hand as a spare which won't cost as much as a job coming to a grinding halt cause the sprayer took a crap.
