RARE-EARTH MAGNETS Neodymium magnets are a member of the Rare-Earth magnet family and are the most powerful permanent magnets in the world. Neodymium magnets are a composition of mostly Neodymium, Iron and Boron. If left exposed to the elements, the iron in the magnet will rust. To protect the magnet from corrosion and to strengthen the brittle magnet material, it is usually preferable for the magnet to be coated. There are a variety of options for coatings, but nickel is the most common and usually preferred. Our magnets are triple plated with layers of nickel, copper, and nickel again. This triple coating makes our magnets much more durable than the more common single nickel plated magnets. These are not N52!
Very disappointed with this item, no way are these N52. I have smaller N35s that can lift more. I've eother received a bad batch or they are incorrectly advertised, either way not great.

Just as the description says- small but strong magnetism, nicely made and fun!
These magnets have many uses. Hard to think of any job that they would not do relative to their size. They really are hard to separate! We just attach the keyring of door keys to the magnet placed on the keychain and it is always right where we want it leaving the door able to be opened from the outside. .The key comes off but the magnet stays put. Put a spaced out line of them across the refrigerator door, so they form a neat line and I can leave more than one note for shopping and reminders. They are so strong that a pile of them is like a rod! Put some sewn, or stuck between two layers of sports tape, into a band and they are so useful to pick up dropped pins, and just leave them rolled up. Just pick the pins off one by one next time I am sewing. I am going to make a mini pocket for a couple to put in my walking bag, so that my keys do not drop out. I can imagine kids being fascinated and able to find a lot of uses for them. Magical!

Very strong but the plating comes off and makes your hands black AVOID AT ALL COSTS
Really fun to play with until about 20 seconds into it when the force of the magnet hitting each other (they are quite strong) chipped off a big chunk of chrome plating and then they just look rubbish as well as made hands covered in black dust (I'm trying not to think about what that might be made of).Avoid at all costs

Flipping strong. Lot's of fun, but fragile too. Play with care.
Apparently, neodymium magnet ratings go in N numbers. These magnets are rated N52, which is about the strongest you can get! They're very powerful, and they're a lovely thing to fiddle with. After you've had a play yourself, hand them to a friend and then watch the silly grin on their face. Then, get them to put two like poles together. The repelling force is incredible. They'll laugh out loud as they try, and fail, to force the two ends together. These are great fun. Just be careful not to drop them on a hard surface or to handle them too roughly. They look like solid metal discs, but the shiny nickel coating is a bit like a Smarties shell. It is easily chipped. Of course, there are lots of sensible uses for very strong magnets too. I've used some for specific tasks.... but I bought another set just to play with. :)

Misleading seller
No way do these have a pull force of 2.5kg!!! I've been buying magnets with a pull force of 1.75kg which were far FAR stronger!!! The seller isn't telling the truth..I bought these as wanted to find a cheaper version of what I was already buying.. I guess you really do get what you pay for. These are pretty strong and quite cheap but I dont like being deceived and was hoping I could trust this seller's item description. The annoying thing is that I subscribed to Amazon Prime in order to buy what I thought was a bargain!!!

Powerful yet small magnets
These magnets are impressive indeed. Measuring 10mm x 3mm and finished in high polishes nickel plating, these magnets are not just useful for your fridge or notice board. I use them with 3mm sheet steel in a mechanical homebuilt electric motor construction to hold the sheet steel together. With 6-8 magnets in place, the pull force would be something like 8-10kg to remove them. All this comes from just 8x(area of magnets) which is just about 2.5 cm squared in area! Recommended!

Very strongly magnetic but as brittle as a biscuit. Use with care.
Liked how strong these were - and the price seemed right - but they are seriously brittle - they kept cracking and snapping like biscuits or dry mud, if they came together from almost any distance. Use with great care. About a third of mine are already chipped or snapped in half.

Magnetic
These magnets are positively the best in their field. If you're feeling attracted to these I recommend you pull them into your basket, they're so good you'll stick with them.
