red is smooth, black is sticky
The black band has a nice tackiness that helps you achieve a tighter compression. However, the black band does stick to my leg hair.The red band is smooth, so compression is slightly less tight, but still strong enough to improve blood flow. And it doesn’t stick to hair. I recommend trying one of each and seeing which works best for you.I have a slight preference for the red, but still use both daily.

Great tool for physical therapy
My husband has struggled with shoulder impingement for a while and utilizing these bands as part of his PT routine and he has been able to do shoulder exercises without pain for the first time in over six months.

This really helps my elbows after climbing. I take it with me in my pack and do a session after. Highly recommend

Happy with my first flossing wrap
I got the band to use on over worked muscles. I used it a few times in an hour and I did feel some release in strain. I first learned about flossing from my massage therapist. This band is nice to work with and doesn't cause my skin discomfort.
