Great Tool - IF you read the listing
This assistive device is great. It's the buyer's responsibility to read the listing, check the measurements, and determine if it will work for them. IF it will work for your needs, it's a very helpful tool.I actually put mine over the large ottoman in my living room. I rarely sit anywhere out there but my recliner. I occasionally do sit on my ottoman, and it's difficult to get up from, this makes it much more comfortable because I have an armrest, and I can push to get up.I do not find it flimsy at all. The photos state it is rated for 250+ pounds, and I have found that to be accurate.

Great idea but won’t work for my couch
I cannot slide this under my couch. Make sure your couch has room for it to go under. Otherwise, it is sturdy and easy to put together. I really needed this due to hip issues and eventually a hip replacement. Disappointed that it couldn’t work for me.

Works well
I ordered this to have on hand during the holidays when many of my older relatives come to visit and it is perfect for that. It was simple to assemble and seems pretty sturdy. Would recommend!
