These work fantastic for both portable TCL ac units we have with 5.9" exhaust hoses. When you initially get them they stink like the rubber they are made from. We let it air out, outside for a day and then put them on and went nose blind to the smell within an hour. Don't smell it after a couple days use at all when coming home now.They insulate extremely well which was actually surprising for as thin as they are and the gray color makes them look really nice. They are definitely an exact fit so make sure you take a tape measure to the exaught hose so you order the correct size.Upon writing this I realized I never received the elastic bands that are supposed to come with this. Luckily the fit was so exact it's tight on its own it's not going anywhere anytime soon. Make sure you get them when they arrive.

Conserves Energy, Less energy wasted. The duct covers were fairly easy to install and greatly help to keep the heat inside the duct and out of the room. I bought 2x 2 packs and covered about 18 feet of duct.

I wish they would sell pre-insulated hoses for portable ACs at a reasonable price. Until someone does, these keep the heat in the tube and out of your room.

I would have given this 5 stars as it was extremely easy to put on and the Velcro is very strong. However, you need to wash 1st because there is a strong chemical smell, almost like Turpentine. When you purchase this, wash with a "No Scent" detergent, [optional: add some Febreze Order Eliminator], then air dry. It helped a lot. Other than that, great product. Plan on getting another set soon.

The vent hose for my portable AC is like a glaring light in the morning. It also releases heat in the room when the AC is running. I bought this cover and it velcros easily around the vent hose and my room is now nice and dark for sleeping. I highly recommend if you have a portable AC

This product does not fit around a 5.9 inch hose you can get about a third of an inch of velcro to touch that's it it also gave off a terrible dice smell we had to air it out outside for over a week and it still smells in her room I would highly recommend not buying this

These covers seem well made and will probably work but the straps included are bound. A clip detactable strap would be much more workable, If you already have your tube installed you know its a PITA to disconnect to install these straps the tube has to be disconnected. Just include straps with clips How much are they $.03 more????

Bought these for a portable AC unit I was using during a time when my home AC was down. It was 100 plus degree days and the upstairs unit stop. These exhaust sleeves made a HUGE difference in temp of the exhaust tube which helped the portable AC unit work more efficiently.
