The Goldilocks of World's Best cat litters
Ive been using this litter for about a year now. One of my girls has the stinkiest poop bombs in the world and does not cover them up. With this litter I can still smell when she has gone but the radius of that smell is down to about to less than one room instead of the entire house. If I go smack some litter onto it the smell is completely neutralized. I've tried the lavender, lotus and blossom, and original. something about the smell of the original mixed with urine was sickening to me. The lavender smell was strong and triggered blepharitis in one of my cats. The lotus and blossom smell fine and not too strong, but it was not strong enough to neutralize smells. This one has been the Goldilocks for me. The litter takes a second to clump but then it's fine! be gentle with your shakes of the scoop so it stays intact, but really its not that difficult to adjust to. There's minimal dust when pouring out the bag, but the litter does seem to breakdown over time and can get dusty at the bottom or in the litterbox. I have had a few dusty pawprints on my bed before 🤢 but I have not tried a mat or rug or anything to catch it upon exit yet. Honestly when I start noticing dust in the litterpan while cleaning I just take that as my reminder to start fresh which we should be doing every now and then anyway.

Hound nosed human? STOP LOOKING AND GET THIS LITTER.
Why did you pick this product vs others?: Alright, pay attention! I have an extremely sensitive sense of smell. I’m blind as a bat (-5.75) and I’m losing my hearing in my left ear. But you better believe that while I may not see or hear you coming, I WILL smell you from 6.2 miles away. That’s just facts. Moving on. I’ve tried jillions of cat litters due to said strong smell. I can’t stand litter smell for even 2 seconds. I’ve used pretty litter and while it was okay I could still smell it. I happened upping this brand when I was shopping at a Kroger store and decided to try it. (It was the original red bag) and was immediately impressed! Fast forward and we didn’t have cats anymore for a few years and recently got two Sphynx kittens. After much research I decided against an automatic litter machine, which I was more than willing to drop any amount of money so long as I could smell anything, and decided to go with a stainless steel litter box with a stainless steel scooper AND took a chance on this “poop” litter since the red bag was a success back when I had tried it. This litter is the absolute best litter I’ve ever tried. Like I said I’ve tried many and all of the ones and none will compare to this one. I went from scooping the litter box 3-4x a day, bc I could t handle the smell and even then could still pick up whiffs, to once a day. I get no whiffs of anything. It clumps the urine and eliminates the poop smell. Only CON is my kittens still track a little out of the box. But it is minimal and is captured by the honey comb mats so not a big deal for me. If you’re sensitive to smells like me you have to have THIS. EXACT. COMBINATION to not smell anything. Stainless steel everything and this exact litter and no one will ever know you have cats just but the smell in your house. It’s also WAY cheaper than investing in an automatic litter box that have such mixed reviews of their effectiveness. I hope this helps my fellow humans with hound noses. For anyone interested in the litter box I used it’s this one. Affordable, huge and am super pleased with it.

It’s really the best!!
This stuff is incredible! The smell is odd when you first open it, but once you realize that smell is better than cat pee (which you never smell anymore when using this) it’s the best! The clumps stay together when scooping instead of tidy cats that drops like half the wet litter back into the box. It holds so much liquid. Way better than any other litter. And I have 4 cats and I foster!

Not perfect, but when flushability is a must, buy this one
This is the best flushable litter I have found to date. It's not perfect, but it is the best flushable litter I have ever used and it's the only one we'll use for our large, multi-cat home. Pros: It flushes well and immediately breaks up in the bowl so there's been no concern of plumbing problems. It is relatively dust-free when adding to a litterbox. Solid waste is coated uniformly, helping to keep the "pooper scooper" and the litterbox surfaces free from buildup. Cons: Liquid waste clumps are not very solid, so "scooping" does result in clump breakdown, allowing small clumps to fall through the sifter. I find that when sifting clumps, it's best to scoop and gently turn over the litter to help lift the clump close to the surface so that I don't have to shake it too vigorously or the clump will disintegrate. I understand that flushable litter shouldn't form very tight clumps for plumbing reasons, but I do feel like the clumping action could be improved slightly so that more urine waste can be removed from the box. Because the clumps break apart and leave behind smaller clumps that cannot be sifted, I find that after about a week, I have to dump all of the litter and start fresh, or the box smell will be overwhelming. On that same line, the litter isn't scented, so it doesn't take long for the box to start developing an odor. All that said, this litter still clumps the best from what I've tried in the flushable category, so for that reason it remains my everyday litter for my wee beasties. If flushability is most important to you, then this is the litter you want to buy. Just be prepared to change the entire box more frequently than other scented versions and budget for the \king's ransom price tag this litter carries.
