Love my cookbook!!!
I am extremely pleased with my purchase of My First Cookbook--just like mine I had as a little girl and learned to cook from--all by myself! Unfortunately, my copy was misplaced in a move. The seller was very prompt, and the condition of the book was just as stated! Love my book and the recipes from my childhood like Roly Polies Cookies!

Joyful childhood memory
I got my lost cookbook back again, I am happy. I lost this book during a move. I made my favorite of it (quick Cake) the very same day. Thank you

Childhood memories.
I had one just like this as a child. It was great having a second copy. Enjoy the meatloaf recipe.

Indeed my very first cookbook!
The recipes were simple to make as a child. But more importantly, it took me back to a time I’ll never have again, childhood. I am so glad to know it’s still available. I’ll be ordering another copy since I didn’t bother to save my original. How stupid of me!. However, I can’t remember paying for a copy as a kid and if I did, it must have been from money saved for something special. I do remember cutting out the book offer from the sugar bag. Funny the things we remember, from what my mother would do to save those pennies for groceries. She would buy off brand things but never off brand sugar. We had Imperial Sugar and Tide for laundry. She said they were the best......Memories

A True Source cookbook for beginners!
This was one of my sister's favorites when we were growing up in the 1970s. We BOTH learned a great deal from it and it is the reason we became good cooks!

The book pictured here is the 1991 edition, not the 1959 edition.
The 1959 edition shows a young lady in a hair band presenting a plate of brownies with pink icing. The 1991 edition (shown for sale here) shows a girl in a blue hair bow reading a yellow book.
