SoLo Carb Bread Country White (5 Loaves per Order)

I am so happy to finally find a LC bread that actually tastes like bread and doesn’t impact my blood sugar. I’m very skeptical of many “low-carb” products, as they usually fail my “blood sugar” test. This stuff is the real deal.For reference, I have type 1 diabetes; my body makes no insulin. I use an insulin pump and continuous glucose monitor to stay alive. The photo you see is my insulin pump and CGM, and it was taken three hours after eating this bread. Normally, at 3hr postprandial (after eating), my blood sugar has peaked. As you can see from the photo, it didn’t move at all. I did not bolus (inject) insulin for this bread. What that means is this bread has zero glycemic load. None.Yes, it’s expensive. But it’s worth every penny to enjoy things like grilled cheese sandwiches and toast.So, if you’re on keto or similar, get this stuff. It tastes so good, you feel like you’re cheating. But the blood sugar graph doesn’t lie!

Really nice flavor, texture is dense, burns easier in toaster than other low carb breads we use. The first loaf opened had a huge air bubble resulting in a large hole in the middle that went through half the slices making them look more like a bagel than a slice of bread.

This is good bread for a low carb diet. It arrives fresh & fast.

Expensive? Yes but worth it! Does NOT raise my blood glucose, I have tested my sugars after eating these and there is very little jump. Keto safe! Taste best toasted. I freeze mine and take out only the slices I need and that works great. I highly recommend.

This is a good keto stand-in for bread.

The size of slices of the loaf was a bit disappointing. Was expecting a regular sliced loaf of sandwich bread or typical white bread, but the size is more comparable to a large baguette of French bread. Also the gapping holes in the slices were unexpected. I bought a 5 pack and I've gone through 3 loafs and so far 2 of the 3 loafs have had at least 6-9 slices with holes in them.

Can’t say enough about this bread.Really glad to find it . Wouldn’t mind the higher price except for the shipping costs.It would be nice if this was a prime shipping item especially when ordering 5 at a time.
