These isolation pads do the job. Made of dense foam, they definitely dampen any vibration to the surface that the monitor is placed on. The pads are actually in 2 wedge shaped parts, designed so you can angle your monitors up or down if needed. The 6.3"x 8" size worked out perfect for our Yamaha MSP5's, the pad fit the base perfectly, although the lip of the pad slightly obscured a volume knob on the lower face of the monitor, so we actually ended up using the inserts for our main monitors located at our central console and well, sort of ended up with a 2 for 1 deal. Since we still had the other set we used them on a secondary set of monitors that don't have any controls on the face. The lip wasn't really necessary for our primary monitors, since they weigh about 10 pounds and the foam of the pads has a slight grippiness, that monitor isn't going anywhere. This totally worked out. Super pleased with these isolation pads.

There are two sizes of these pads to choose from, and I wish there had been something in between the small ones and the big ones. I knew the big ones would be too big for my shelves, but the small ones disappear under the speaker and make the speakers look like they're levitating a little. The isolation function is still there, it just looks a little strange. The foam itself is a nice density and so far supports the speakers pretty well. I suspect they will flatten significantly over time, but this is not really a permanent solution. I do like the configurability of the pads, either angled or flat, and that's particularly helpful with speakers above ear level that you'd like to aim down slightly. I don't know that a couple pieces of foam are worth 20 bucks, so that combined with the odd size are the only reasons I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5.

I guess I wasn't paying attention, because they are waaay too small for standard bookshelf speakers. I stuck them under my amp though, which allows me to place it directly on top of the subwoofer without the vibrations threatening to loosen any less-than-perfect solder points.

These monitor pads are closed cell foam which is much firmer than the "fluffy" foam other brands use that squish or compress under weight. In my studio I have several pairs of monitors of various sizes and weight and have compared these pads across them all. They have great vibration absorption and do not compress under the heavier monitors, even when using the wedge design to angle the monitors. Another feature of which to be aware is cheaper style foam over time can actually stick to the flat surface that they sit on. So far, these do not seem to have any issue. I can recommend this product, especially at this price point. Great value.

I use these under two Alesis Monitor One Monitors and they fit and work great. I selected the size: 10.7" x 13" x 1.8". No more vibrations!

If you are an audiophile, or want to act like one, you should do something to isolate your speakers from the surface they're sitting on. I've seen speaker 'spikes' that minimize the contact area of the speakers/support. And, I purchased a pair of stands that angle and cushion the speaker from the desk. In this case, there was a definite improvement in the sound since the speakers were angled upwards improving the the amount of sound that reached my ears. This also helps to reduce boominess caused by the speaker woofers interacting with the desktop surface. The cushioning reduces vibration transfer from the speakers to the desk, which can cause all sorts of issues with the sound waves.These high density foam pads are designed to let you just cushion the speakers, without changing the angle, or change the speaker angle in a positive or negative direction. I have the smaller version, and you can see in the photos how they fit under a conventional speaker, as well as a HomePod. I haven't tested them long enough to state that there is definitely an improvement in sound quality. Might you be able to save $20 and design your own? Sure, and I'd bet they would be better than nothing. But I am going to give this product 4 stars since I like the way they designed the pads to let you change the angle of the stands, or leave as is.

I was skeptical these would actually dampen seeing they are made of thick stiff foam. I went ahead and installed them at 0° tilt and turned on my studio monitors. Turned up music to 75db and noticed an immediate reduction in harmonic ring I used to have due to the tall wooden stands the monitors were placed on. That thick stiff foam is the right consistency and dencity to do a good job.Yeah, no more harmonic ring. They do work. That I can confirm over the full audio spectrum my monitor speakers were capable of reproducing. I haven't tested it on different angles as the two- piece foam can be assembled for different angles.I'm recommending them. However, make sure you select a size just larger than the monitor's base.

Pedí estos paneles en su versión pequeña para usar con mis monitores Presonus Eris 3.5 (digo el modelo de monitores porque son de uso muy extendido y probablemente os sirva de ayuda) en mi home studio y no podría estar más satisfecho. El tamaño pequeño queda ajustado y el material es sólido y de calidad. Me ha alegrado que venga sin comprimir, a diferencia de la espuma acústica que suele llegar hecha una porquería. Además, el diseño es inteligente, permitiendo ajustar los ángulos de los altavoces según sea necesario.Antes, con la vibración de los altavoces, el micrófono que tengo enganchado en la mesa temblaba mucho, especialmente con los graves. Ahora, la mesa está mucho más estable y el micrófono ya no se mueve. I didn't expect much from this product. But it practically eradicated all reverberation in the room. Now all I hear is the sound coming out of the monitors. I didn't realise how much sound was vibrating around the room before. This has reduced noise levels by around 40%. Which is important to me because I play my electric guitar through the monitors (via a Kemper profiler, for any guitarists reading this) and it was disturbing the neighbours. Now the reverberation is reduced the volume in the room is much lower. Hopefully im making sense! Basically these things are amazing if you just want to hear what's coming from your speakers without all the extraneous noise.
