Replaced 25 yr old knobs. Work fine

I bought these to swap out for the metal knobs that get hot on my Michelango pots (love those pots by the way). As the pots are black, these match perfectly. Highly recommend.

For the past 18mo, I had two woks I use often every week. One I keep grease in because my daughter was fries, cheese fries, cheese sticks, or something a couple of times a week, and the other wok I use to heat up meals such as the PF Chang frozen meals or shrimp scampi.However, the one problem I have is the size of the knobs on the lids. As you can see in the picture, they are small and difficult to grip. If my hands are a big slick, I can easily loose my grip and I have a couple of times. Hence, I was planning to purchase new woks, though there is nothing wrong with them except the lids...Luckily, I came across these replacement lids. The old knobs unscrewed easily and these simply screwed on to replace them. It took me longer to wash the lids without the knobs than to take the old ones off and put these on. Also, I like the base of these also being silicon, like my old ones to protect touching the hot glass. Some other replacement knobs have metal at the bottom, but this reminds me why I don't buy pots with lids that have metal handles...It's illogical to need to use pot holders to grab pot handles or lid tops when there are pots with rubber handles and lid tops...These are great, and saved me money not having to purchase two knew woks just because the lids had terrible knob designs...

These are the best. They are shaped right and are grippy. An excellent replacement for all my lids!

Had to replace pot knobs for my 40-year old pots. In my opinion they are better than the original knobs. Love silicon for handling hot lids. They are lovely and give me the confidence I will not touch a hot lid due to the knob's silicone base surround. I recommend this purchase.

Great knob, fits just right. Silicon material so I am sure will last long. Dishwasher safe which is a plus. Very easy to install and looks great. Grip is very good. Made the cover looks new again. Highly recommended.

These are amazing and I wish I'd bought them 10 years ago, when I first bought my glass top pots. The original knobs had a hollow, two-piece structure, and were of hard plastic. The problem with that design is that any time you wash the top of the lid, moisture gets underneath the hollow bottom section. So every time they were washed, I'd have to disassemble them, dry them, and reassemble them. When one of them finally broke, I bought this set of silicone knobs from Amazon. They are fantastic!They screwed on easily, and the base of the new silicone knob forms a nice tight connection to the glass lid. If any moisture does get under the knob base, it's easy to just peel back the silicone a little bit and run the towel around it. I threw away ALL of the original plastic knobs that weren't broken, too, and replaced them with these silicone knobs. Problem solved!

So perhaps I melt things and drop things more than most, but these are awesome, not brittle, and I have been able to replace my triple crock pot lids, my rice cooker lid and lids a couple more pans. I haven't put them in the oven, but I know if I drop them, they won't break.
