Awesome kit, easy installation it comes with instructions ( if needed ) and grease so the bushing installs easier. Moved the shift lever on the transmission to the drive position and the shifter inside the car to D (drive) the shift cable lines up perfectly with the transmission shift lever also give you a little more room to work, then test drive on my driveway through all the gears..

Perfect fit

This part was recalled on a large number of Fords. I could have likely gone to the dealership and they would have replaced it for free. But it was only a few dollars on here and took less time to install than it would have taken to get my Escape towed to the dealership. You do have to press pretty hard to get it in place so an older/smaller person might need a hand or tool to help with that part.
