Great product, but somehow it was not communicated that it has such widely spaced lines. For a product this small, it would be better with a college rule option for those that want more than 4-5 sentences a page. I gave to my daughter, and she immediately lamented the spacing.Sturdy, well made, and looks great!

I've got a classroom with many dungeons and dragons players. I ordered this notebook as a year end raffle prize. Half the class went nuts when I put the book on display the first time. Suddenly pages of late work came in (no raffle for students who had unfinished assignments).Everything about the notebook speaks of quality. The leather is exquisite. The embossed designs are beautiful. I love this notebook and I don't know nothing about the game. If you're considering purchasing this notebook, I can only say that we are all very happy with ours.

The most amazing thing about this journal is the feeling you get when you open the box. I'm talking to the writers/artists here. Have you ever bought a set of pens, pencils, or other journaling/art supply that was so fantastic, you had a overwhelming feeling down to your soul, that you were going to make something beautiful with this item? That's what you'll feel when you pull it out of the box. It was Christmas, falling in love, and winning a huge prize all in one. They are not charging enough for these books. Get them now before they realize.This says faux leather, yet it smells, and feels exactly like leather. There is a book mark, tipped with metal charms leading atmosphere to the journal. The pages are nice and thick, no bleeding or smearing, and I tried several different inks. The strap closure is made to expand as the paper swells, and/or you glue stuff in. There is a pen holder, but no pen. If you are discriminating enough for this journal, you probably have your own favorite. The envelope enclosure is perfect for leaves, flower petals, and cards. My only regret is that it is not refillable. This comes in a nice box, and could be a great third party gift.

Beautiful leather and lots of pages

This is a great "leather-bound" notebook. Lots of storage pockets inside for printouts, notes, etc. It has a great old-school look. I picked this up to take notes during D&D sessions. It's got a great look and feel for it, and I won't have to worry about confusing which notebook I used for D&D versus other miscellaneous life events. Feels super sturdy and is really easy to carry around. Love the look of it as well. Really impressed!

So I love the look and feel of this journal but I do have one small complaint. The pages in it. I wish there was a tiny bit more space on the top line. Its hard to put titles on the pages with such a small space between the top of the page and where the line is. But its a very small complaint. The journal is phenomenal in every other way! It looks so cool and I've received a lot of compliments on it from my DND group.
