NOT ALL ITEMS ARE INCLUDED, and most CHEAP!!!
Had to buy 5 letters worth of objects; 4 missing and the “jigsaw puzzle piece” for J instead of P for “puzzle”, that’s diabolical

Could not be cuter! Super fun for teaching letter-sound-object recognition
We provide therapy to children and emphasize pre-academic skills, including functional communication skills. We try to find fun ways to motivate our kiddos to learn letters, letter-sounds, and pronounce words. I didn't realize it had uppercase letters on 1 side and lowercase letters on the other! Woohoo! What we like:1) We can work on uppercase AND lowercase letters2) It's sturdy and a good size3) It ALL fits in the box!4) Clear & bright graphics5) The objects (the water bottle is for size comparison) are sturdy, of good size, and "make sense" for the letters - except for the jigsaw puzzle piece for "J." In the US, we just refer to it as a puzzle piece, not a jigsaw puzzle piece. We replaced the "jigsaw puzzle" with a little toy jet that we already had. I LOVE the Japanese-style vase. SO flippin' cute!6) Good price. We received 1 set "free" through the Vine program, but legit plan to purchase additional sets on our own because our "beta kiddo" loves it. We would not be able to create this set on our own for the actual price. Side note: This would also make a great gift.7) The objects are small enough to fit on the board, but do not appear too small to present a choking hazard to younger kiddos. What we don't like, but can live with for the selling price:1) Having to replace the "J" object2) I wish the "grab box" were sturdier because I know it'll be a bit torn-up within a few weeks, but we can always place the items in a plastic box later on if needed.All-in-all, love it and plan to purchase more sets ourselves, and maybe 1 as a gift for a friend's 2 year-old.

Cute
I would give it 5 stars because it is a great idea but it came with 2 "p" items a pizza and puzzle piece and no "j" item unless we teach children J is for junk food? Grandson loved it as it will be going to his classroom for a hands on learning. I may have to locate something J related to replace the dual p items

4.5 Awesome tool
I have 2 of these kinds of activities and of the two I prefer this one. The board has no pictures to match the item, which leaves no room to correct for error- but also allows for different interpretations. I’m not a fan of ‘jig saw puzzle piece’ for J but at least it’s plastic and not an actual puzzle piece that will quickly be destroyed. I’m not thrilled with the figure for Queen or the Rabbit (my kids will think bunny) but that’s personal preference. All of the toys are one piece, except the orange which is velcros in half. Icecream, Orange, X-ray, and Unicorn use the long vowel sound or the name of the letter instead of the short sound. The little doll hat seems the right size for a sun hat for a barbie. We’ve watched a lot of my little pony so we would call a winged horned horse an Alicorn, not a Unicorn- but because there are no pictures I can easily swap out any item to emphasize a different sound (like an umbrella, jelly bean, quill, or velcro, octopus, etc.)Because you could also do a scavenger hunt with this, and most of the items are excellent I would say this is worth it. The board even features upper case on one side and lower case on the other. Lower case is more important but surprisingly harder to find, and without the correction of uppercase it is a truly more versatile teaching/learning tool. This is just lots of versatility and sensory exploration for a holistic learning experience-surprise, cooperative or competitive, group or solo play, and space to customize. I would definitely recommend.
