I recently tried the Dead Sea Clay, and it has quickly become a staple in my grooming routine. Whether I'm fresh off a new haircut or in the later stages between cuts, this hair gel works wonders. It keeps my hair looking neat and stylish even when it's longer and a bit scraggly, effectively extending the time before I need a fresh cut. The hold is just right, providing structure without being too stiff, and the clean matte finish gives my hair a natural, well-groomed appearance.I was initially skeptical about the incremental value of this product, as I've never spent more than $10-15 on hair gel before. However, the Dead Sea Clay has proven to be worth every penny. The quality and performance far exceed what I've experienced with cheaper products. If you're looking for a hair gel that offers great hold and a polished look, this is definitely a product to consider.

This product doesn't give much hold nor texture. It does have a matte finish. It's too easy to wash out of your hair, so you can't apply the product to your hair while it is wet. You must wait for it to dry for best results (atleast for me). Personally I think I will pass on this in the future. It's just kind of eh for my use case.

This stuff smells truly amazing! This was the first time I've ever used hair clay so there was a bit of a learning curve for me, especially when it can to how much to use (directions on the container would have been nice), but I ultimately decided to start with a little and go from there. I loved the texture and overall look that this gave my hair and how easily it washed out at the end of the day. It's definitely a fun product to have in my arsenal for trying out different looks. Based on the amount I used, I'm thinking this container will last me about 6 to 8 applications. Would recommend.

I ordered this product twice. The first was great to use. The consistency of the product was smooth, easy to apply. The second purchase was not smooth, has little clumps which are very annoying and don't easily smooth out, and if you aren't careful, you get small clumps of the product in your hair which is again, annoying.I give 5 stars for the first purchase, 0 stars for the second since I can't use the entire product.Overall, based on the first purchase this product can be great! Has a solid hold, easily cleans from hair with minimal effort (and hands), doesn't pull on the hair when applying, and lasts a whole day no problem.I won't buy this again since I won't know what version of the product I will receive. I don't know which is the "correct" version.

DO NOT BUY FROM AMAZON! When getting this from the website, it is an excellent product that arrives ready to use. When buying from Amazon, the clay is a solid puck that cannot be penetrated or rehydrated fully. The most responsive of the three I bought became a lumpy sludge, the least responsive of the three I purchased was only slightly softer than a regulation hockey puck.

My first impression was how terrible this stuff smells to me. It reminds me of an old lady cream smell. Once I got past it, it's a nice styling product. My son uses it in his hair. I also use it in mine. It's a light hold. It doesn't feel heavy or crispy. It doesn't make my hair look too shiny and oily. I'm pleased.

i could not use this product - my hair was very fine and thin and couldn't take this but my friend with much thicker hair said it gave him a fantastic slicked back look! worth experimenting with!
