Welcomed gift
I bought this as a gift. It was well appreciated by the recipient who has visited many state parks and plans to visit more. Not all parks are listed, but many are. Nice quality and beautiful photos

Book
The only negative would be the size. I was hoping for a larger size for these old eyes. But it does work for now.

Find obscure parks
Great resource for side excursions when traveling.

Start day dreaming now…
Nothing is better than curling up with one of these National Geographic guides on a cold winter evening to dream of warm days and adventures ahead.Four stars only because of poor proofreading. In every National Geographic guide I own (many!!) I always find errors. Example: Henry David Thoreau wasn’t at Walden Pond in 1947, as this guide suggests!!

Retirement Travel Guide
Now retired, I have the time to tour Virginia and Florida in a stimulating way, either on day trips or four-day weekends or whenever I'm in the mood to learn something new.
