Much Better than Similar Products
I had initially bought a similar knife from Poshland however that blade had several major faults in it and I knew i had to return it so the recipient (it was a gift) wouldn't get hurt. I chose to try a different brand and this one delivered. Not only is the blade of noticing higher quality than the more expensive Poshland knife but it is better weighted and of somewhat sturdier build. I wouldn't say it would be a good throwing knife but a 14in Bowie is overkill for that. Another thing to note is it comes with a pretty solid edge out of the box and takes a new edge easily since the steel is somewhat soft. The patterns are brilliant though purely aesthetic. Overall I am very pleased and I suspect the knive's new owner will be as well.

Awesome knife
This is one large knife that would make even Crocodile Dundee jealous. This knife is not only large but beautiful as well. It reminds me of the knives they made in the 80's.It has a long, thick, beautiful blade that has some good weight to it. The real wood handle is beautiful, especially with the company logo inlays. The blade is sharp and the handle is very comfortable. The quality is really good on both the knife and the thick, real leather sheath.Though this knife is actually usable, it is large and fairly heavy. It's so big and hefty, I can't really see someone carrying it around attached to their belt. This knife is perfect for displaying and is so large it is just fun to handle.Very nice quality and large knife that is very fairly priced.

Great knife keep it oiled.
Amazing knife, does not disappoint. But keep it oiled or it can loose finish and rust quickly. It is not stainless steel. I wish someone would’ve gave me a heads up. Rusted in the sheath within one month just a little bit. But buy the knife it’s a great knife just keep it oiled.

Functional, Non-Traditional, Solid, and Sharp with a great sheath
I always wanted a Damascus blade as well as a Bowie, so this fit the bill on, at least, one count. It is Damascus steel, although I'm not sure if you could call it an actual Bowie knife. I suppose blade length and all would qualify, but the Bowie has a unique shape and style and I don't think this is it. That said, this is just what I'm looking for in a knife. The design is functional and a bit non-traditional. The blade is solid with no cracks or gaps. The edge is shave-your-arm-hair sharp. But what endeared me to this knife was the sheath with the Great Seal of the State of Oklahoma on the snap. I was raised in Oklahoma and that surprise feature kind of sealed the deal for me.

Good stuff
I like the knifeThe scales ain’t quite rightThe sheath is seriously thinThe snap don’t workButThe knife is seriously on pointI really wish they’d charge $20 more and use unsplit leather, a good snap, and better scales.

Absolutely gorgeous knife!!!!
This thing is GORGEOUS!!!!! It looks exactly like the picture, if not better. The case is great quality. My dad has recently started collecting knives since he was diagnosed with lymphoma earlier this year. He keeps to the $20 or so dollar range, so I wanted to buy him something really awe-inspiring that he'd never buy for himself. THIS was it!!!! I can't wait to give it to him for Christmas. I know this knife is going to be the pride of his collection!
