I do a lot with mental health in the first responder world. When I looked up these Latin phrases and saw the meaning, I knew I had to have this coin. It is a solid coin but maybe not quite as solid and heavy as some other challenge coins I have. But I do intend to carry it as my pocket piece. I wish I could get a bag full of these to give out to first responders when I talk to them.

Very nice challenge coin that was purchased as a gift for a friend. The weight, size and color are spot on, and my friend commented that it matches up nicely with another coin that he carries, which he then spins together in his pocket as a type of fidget toy. Overall this was a great value and made for a gift well received. I was surprised to find that this was one of, if not the only coin with both phrases "memento mori" and "amor fati" on it, which are both tattooed on my friend's arm.

I've been trying to live by stoic principals for some years now, and wanted a daily reminder. I have a silver coin with the phrase 'Memento Mori" on one side, and "Carpe Diem" on the other. But I wanted something I could carry that wouldn't tarnish and was a bit lighter. I came across this challenge coin and it is exactly what I wanted. And both phrases are meaningful to the stoic.
